I just want to thank all of you who have come up with this site and have posted here. I was so lost on my car projects until I stumbled across this forum. I live in a small town in southern Oregon after living in Detroit and San Diego. In the cities, there was always a guy to go to in order to get help on my projects. I got here and it is really difficult to find guys with like interests as my Dodges. Every day that I log on to this forum, I learn something. Sometimes it's about my own cars, but mostly the old cars in general. Each time I try to help another person on the forum, I learn more, also. I meet really good people and I just want to say thanks. So, THANKS!!

I think you keep the forum interesting. I am not into Dodges, but my grandfather had a 28 Dodge Victory Six.

I went to a car show and someone had a Dodge Victory Six, and my sister photographed me by it.

I am working on my 1933-4 Dodge at the moment Keiser.

But I enjoy the "What is it?" the "Technical" and other parts of this site as well.

Its a wonderful feeling knowing that someone from the other side of the world is looking at this site and helping others out.

Cheers

Manuel...I have been wondering how to get a shipping container full of early Dodge stuff to you folks "down under" and the folks in New Zealand. I would just LOVE to fill that thing up with whatever parts you need to do your cars. If I were to have a list and be able to access the parts needed, I would be on it. I know that it has to be tough to get parts there. John

keiser i have to agree with you this is one of the best old car?sites i have been on , it's great, 99.9% of the people i would love to meet some time .i have been involved with old cars since the late 50's early 60's , and for a start i couldn't beleive the help that is out there untill i found this site about 3 years ago. as for parts, especialy in NZ ,yes they can be hard to source , but since i decided to join the computer age ,it has become easier to find what i need. my kids and grandchildren still dread ne asking them how to do things , but gradualy i'm getting there , i belong to 3 other old car sites in the US , and have about 30 web sites for general parts suppliers, 6 for salvage yards , 4 for running board rubbers , 6 for manuals and literature, 24 for specialist repro and 2 for wireing , so far i have not had a problem sourcing the parts i need , but will admit a containor or two of mopar parts would help out a lot . it is getting harder to find what we need , and the financial situation at the moment doesn't help , our dollar has now dropped from about 72 cents to 53 cents against the US dollar

Yes, Kudos to the keepers of this site; for me it has provided entertainment, a knowledge base, a source for parts and automobilia, and the chance to meet people I probably not have otherwise. I have bought a few things from frequent fliers on this site over the past couple years and never had a bad deal. I was ultimately was able to put together a couple great deals on cars as a result of meeting my friend Tom L. through this site.

Not all of the changes to the hobby are bad, and this is an excellent one!
