TexRiv_63
I have a KisselKar emblem that I am considering getting restored, see photos below. It is 3" in diameter with two threaded mounting bosses on the back. The logo looks different than others I've seen and it does not have the "Every Inch a Car" slogan on the bottom. Can anyone identify this and tell me what year it's from? Also, was it originally plated and if so, nickel or ? Thanks for any help.
1937hd45
The only one I've ever seen up close was on a 1914 and it had the Kar on a lower level, memory says it was a larger diameter as well. I'll check a few books and see what I can find.
Leif Holmberg
http://americanhistory.si.edu/onthemove/collection/object_222.html On this page I found that Kissel Kar changed the logo 1914 to inklude even Every Inch a car. Restorer32
It's pre-1918. It may have been a hedcap medallion rather than a rad badge.
