  1. Your posts do take me on a journey, but go easy on the hat thing. Embroidered, leather bill, I give one to every customer. PM me your address, and I will send you one and a shirt. I guess I will go for a walk now, and look for my identity.
  2. What is the hardest part about drawing a car? Painters who do portraits will say faces and hands, just wondering what part of a car is a pain.
  3. How long does it take to do a drawing like the one pictured above?
  4. In response to the PM that you sent me. Replying to the PM that I sent you. Yes, I do live in Idaho. You can stop by and have a beer any time you drive through this area. And you can call me on the number that I gave you, and I will answer your question.
  5. The regrets that I have for things that I have done, are that people turn a blind eye to what has been brought to light. And the only way for things to get better. Is for a conversation to take place. I do not regret my actions out here, and I will stay true to the comments that I have posted on this forum. A honest conversation needs to take place about the harm being done to small automotive shops and to the people who work in them. This State needs to look into what goes on, it will be for the benefit of the hobby/industry. Sorry if I sound like a broken record on this topic, but I am stunned at what is going on out here. I have devoted myself to this hobby/trade/industry because of a love for classic/custom cars. And if people would just talk about the problems, interest and involvement will increase. So many great things can be done with the cars around here. But people need to cut loose of what has been allowed to go on for so many years.
  6. Do not tell Bernie that I miss spelled Ultra on the post title.

  8. What is the deal with the winged badge that you see on the front of the hood on some of the 36-37 cords?

  10. That one looks like it started off as a reproduction Cord.
  11. Seeing this stuff has inspired me to work on my stick figures. Very nice.
  12. I am looking for a set of center hubcaps that say Hudson on them. I know that Hudson had a few different styles, just need a set of four.
  13. Going to get after market wheels, and will weld in tabs to except the stock hubcaps. There are a few center caps that say Hudson on them. And will put on the beauty ring. I have seen caps on ebay, I know if I buy a pair I will not find two more. Did you buy those Hood spears?
  14. The hood is on, pulling the fender color over on to the hood sides toned down the size of the hood. looks good with the two tone on the cowl. I am looking for a set of small center Hudson Hubcaps that say Hudson on them if anyone knows of a good set?
  15. That is a stunning car 8E45E. Skirting the front fenders, Duesenburg hood treatment all look great. The grill from the front looks a little heavy, the water fall style to it dominates the front end. A touch to much, Great car.
  16. The cadcord is interesting. Buick bumper is a bit much. Looks to have some play in the steering. Trim on the rear fender looks like 50 Olds
  17. The rear end from a Maverick will fit right under a Hudson step down, you do not even have to change the spring perches.
  18. 10 weeks racing across the country for a cash prize, who knows what could happen.
  19. Cords have very nice styling, there are things on the L-29 that hold it back a little. If building one in to a custom, the antique looking wood stove dash pieces would have to go. And adding 3-4 inches in the overall length of the car in the door area. Would put it in proportion. The 36-37 Cords are a very nice looking car, a person would want to be careful changing things.
  20. This club member has some pretty good quotes in his profile.
  21. Quality programming, and a quality format for a show would be easy to do. If the goal was to highlight the hobby/trade/industry. And the talent and skill of the people who do the work. But as long as winners and losers are picked based on who will give up the most to make it happen. Not much will get any better. Jacking people in their private lives to get a rise out of them on TV does not help to promote this incredible industry. If people want things to improve, an honest conversation about some of the things that go on would get the ball rolling.
