1.

Quote:

taking a break from him until it seems he is together, don't you think his business would suffer?

If he can't deliver as promised, his business is already suffering. I'm not trying to put the guy out of business. I'm HAPPY with the turbo he sent. But, if his head isn't in to doing what needs to be done, others need to know ahead of time so they don't get p-ssed off because he's not meeting his obligations to his customers. Once Chris explained the situation, I was more than patient with him. As long as he stayed in communication with me, I had NO issues and was willing to give him the time he needed and say nothing. Had he returned my emails and phone calls I still would not be saying anything. We all make mistakes and no one is perfect. We simply do our best to right the wrongs. Avoiding the situation will not make it go away.
2. Thanks....every stitch by hand. No machine work there.
3. Please read for comprehension. I said you might want to avoid doing business with him for the time being. He has said himself that he is just not into running his business right now. I didn't say he was a bad person. I have been very nice to him, listening to his story why he hadn't processed my core refund. Nonetheless, he hasn't taken care of his customer as promised. I am not bad-mouthing people. I am relating a negative shopping experience I have had with a business as a warning to others. I last spoke to him in July 12, once again receiving promises that the refund would be processed in less than 2 weeks. I have tried contacting him several times in the past 2 weeks (this being 4 weeks after the refund was promised to me) and have had no response. That is not good business. Period. Just wondering, why did you change your screen name?
4. Whooops! Sorry about that. I saw the emblem and assumed it was original. (You know what happens when one assumes...) My bad. I know windscreens were one of the very few items interchangeable with the LeBaron, which is why I thought it was original. It made sense that it would be made by Safeguard with the Pentrident emblem to denote it was for the TC. The other glass, being exclusive to the TC would of course be Italian. At least I can say it is an OEM Chrysler replacement and not aftermarket glass. (*sigh*....Off to make corrections on the website....)
5. Just an FYI on Turbos Unleashed. I would avoid doing business with them for the time being. Chris is a nice guy and all, and his products are good, but he apparently has had some goings on in his personal life that have negatively affected his business. In his own words, he basically told me he "doesn't have his mind or his heart in his business." I'm STILL waiting for him to refund me almost $200 that he fully admitted he owes me, and this has been going on since April. He just can't seem to get around to processing it. He is now no longer answering his phone or returning my emails or phone calls. I have been more than patient and sympathetic with him and his "excuses" for 4+ months now. I am NOT happy with him.
6. I'm in Fredericksburg, VA. I was originally going to try to remove it myself but a guy I know who does glass work as a profession said without the right tools it would be a bit tricky. He would remove it for me for a reasonable fee (I didn't ask at the time what it would be). Let me know and I can follow up for you.
7. I could swear I remember someone looking for the piece of stainless trim that goes between the Tonneau lid and the door. I have the passenger side piece if someone is looking for it still.
8. You might also want to check your exhaust header pipe to the cat or the cat itself. Sometimes the hangars break (and some have bumpers that fall off) and you can feel a thunk.
9. I have some exterior trim pieces still available. All pieces are in very good to excellent condition unless otherwise noted. Prices do not include shipping. Lower Wheel Well Trim pieces - front and rear, left and right sides, $20 each or $60 for set of 4. last two pics Wheel Well Trim - includes gasket, for RF wheel well - $30.00 not pictured Body Side Mouldings - (aka door ding moulding) ~Between Door and Rear Fender Well, left side, has paint chip $12.50 ~Behind Front Wheel Well, left side, $12.50 ~Behind Front Wheel Well, right side, $12.50 not pictured Sale pending...Tonneau Gasket - this is the rubber gasket that goes underneath the stainless trim that the roof sits on. 10. It is an allen wrench and once you loosen the nut, it slides off the metal plate. If you need a windscreen, I have an original in nearly perfect shape.
11. Hi JoAnn, I think you mean the window weatherstripping, and mine is shredded on the parts car. Sorry.
12. On my '90 it just pulled right off.... but it probably wasn't suppose to.
13.

Quote:

Hi car chick, I'm looking for the rubber gusset that sits on the back side of the passanger side window ,that keeps the rain out. Also the passenger side front turn signal lens ,I see you don't have it but thought some one reading this might . Thanks .Jo Ann

You will have to talk to LouZ about the turn signal lens - I sold mine to him. As for the rubber gusset - I'm not quite sure what you mean - is it the piece that goes between the two windows or is it along the beltline?
14. The ABS light simply means there is a malfunction somewhere in the ABS system. I know the accumulator is a problem area on these cars and the Teves system can sometimes be buggy. New ABS pumps are $$$. You might want to try cleaning the accumulator and flushing the system to see if it helps.
15. I have both seat switches out of the parts car. They work in all directions. These are the ones out of the center console. $17.50 ea or $30.00 for both plus shipping Also have the defroster switch. $15.00 plus shipping.
16. Hey Jeff, Sounds like a blast! (ooh that was bad)
17. The backup lights might be the switch itself. They do go bad, either getting stuck on or noever coming on. I would guess that is where your problem is.
18. I have often thought about picking up a set of Kelsey Hayes wires for my T-bird. Then I think about the "tuning" that the wheels require and, like Lou says, finding someone who really knows how to tune the wheels. After about 10 seconds, my original steel wheels and original near-mint 41 year old hub caps don't look so bad.
19. The bags shouldn't deploy if they aren't hooked to the sensors. I have recovered a few steering wheels, but they were custom designs, not OEM look. Here is a steering wheel I did for someone (off a '96 Passat), and also an emergency brake handle and boot I did for a MINI Cooper S.
20. All original my @$$. Not with those wire wheels.
21. LOL- wish I could help you, but I love your personal ad! (Guido's clone has a 90 that I'm going to give a tummie tuck to and use some Botox)
22. Something tells me after this display of childishness, no one is going to want to do business with Xtreme. Then again, I don't really see a whole lot of people knocking down his door as it is. Wonder why......
23. Well, to me, pristine means perfect. If your part wasn't perfect, then it wasn't pristine. Noticeable gouges and chips do not equal pristine. They would be "very good" condition but they do not equal excellent and do not even approach pristine. Such flaws should have at least been mentioned. JMO.
24. Lou, check your private messages.
