It will probably be bitter cold with snow and sleet, then blazing hot with unbearable sun. All in one afternoon.

I've had it since I was 16. My dad gave it to me. It's getting back on the road for Louisville in 2010. -

NEW!! AACA 75TH ANNIVERSARY SIGNS
Steve Braverman replied to Steve Moskowitz's topic in Automobiles and Parts - Buy/Sell
I have two bronze medallions about four inches in diameter. One says "Silver Jubilee" and is dated 1960. The other says "Golden Jubilee" and is from 1985. I am hoping to have a third. -

Are there going to be bronze medallions like at the other anniversary meets? -
My Plymouth sat for 14 years with gas in the tank. I took the tank to the local radiator shop to be cleaned, and he suggested that it may be easier, and cheaper, to make a new tank, or at least part of the tank. He suggested re-using the ends. Does anyone know who might be able to do this? The tank is oval.

I don't need the goddess, just the cap that seals the radiator.

Must be in decent condition.

The radiator in my PA has a core that is a folded fin type and not the honeycomb that I usually see. The filler neck is also different in that it is threaded. I always assumed that the radiator was re-cored way back when and the neck was modified for some reason. My dad bought this car in 1962 with only 30k miles on it and the radiator was like this when he got it. Recently, I bought another radiator that has the proper core and neck. When I put them side by side, there are many differences in the shape of the tanks and details although the Fedders tag has the same number on both. Is it possible that my "weird" radiator is correct? My car is a very late PA titled as a '32.

The universal joints in my Franklin are a type that are not rebuildable or replaceable. The local drive shaft shop made me a new drive shaft using the original end flanges. Made a huge difference in smoothness.

I used some Aviation Form-a-Gasket. Worked great!

Is it the backing plates and shoes that are missing?

My Plymouth in 1962
Steve Braverman replied to Steve Braverman's topic in Our Cars & Restoration Projects
Okay, so I found it in my own barn. I put it away in 1997 when I was away at college, then life got in the way and it never came out. The brakes were stuck to the drums and I had to drag it out. I removed the gas tank and radiator today, and hope to have it ready for Louisville. -

Waldron's antique exhaust, car exhaust, truck exhaust, exhaust pipes, mufflers

Yes, most cars of that era had little pea-shooter tail pipes. The muffler would most likely be a straight-through type. Waldrons will have the muffler. Waldron's antique exhaust, car exhaust, truck exhaust, exhaust pipes, mufflers
