I think I am the luckiest guy on the planet. I bought an 89 tc a year ago in March. I flew down to West Palm Beach to see a tc. Two owners 22000 miles. Licensed in Montana. It hadnt been state inspected, Montana didnt require one. By the way, I had a one way air fare. I drove the car for 20 minutes and bought it for 5,000. The next day driving to the beach it shut off like you turned the key off. The car would turn over strong but not start. Looked under the hood, like I knew what I was looking for. On top of the engine there is a white wire in a harness. I picked up the harness and the white wire came apart. I asked my girlfriend to turn the key and I held the wire together and it started right up. I took the took kit out and used the knife and the tape to hold the wire together and drove it back to Pittsburgh Pa a week later. I have been driving it every day and all it has needed is a motor for the windshield wipers and four new tires. I have replaced the brakes, Mobil 1, the radio and speakes and put synthetic brake fluid in it. I love to drive the car. I wanted one since the first one I saw in a Dealership but couldnt afford the pricey tag. One of my dreams have been realized. Sorry for the long post but thought it needed to be told Roger
