  2. Does anyone know the original part number for the driver's side amber turn signal under the front bumper? Thanks Roger
  3. I think I am the luckiest guy on the planet. I bought an 89 tc a year ago in March. I flew down to West Palm Beach to see a tc. Two owners 22000 miles. Licensed in Montana. It hadnt been state inspected, Montana didnt require one. By the way, I had a one way air fare. I drove the car for 20 minutes and bought it for 5,000. The next day driving to the beach it shut off like you turned the key off. The car would turn over strong but not start. Looked under the hood, like I knew what I was looking for. On top of the engine there is a white wire in a harness. I picked up the harness and the white wire came apart. I asked my girlfriend to turn the key and I held the wire together and it started right up. I took the took kit out and used the knife and the tape to hold the wire together and drove it back to Pittsburgh Pa a week later. I have been driving it every day and all it has needed is a motor for the windshield wipers and four new tires. I have replaced the brakes, Mobil 1, the radio and speakes and put synthetic brake fluid in it. I love to drive the car. I wanted one since the first one I saw in a Dealership but couldnt afford the pricey tag. One of my dreams have been realized. Sorry for the long post but thought it needed to be told Roger
  4. where is the car located? how much are you asking?
  5. i have a 2.2 89 turbo auto. the oil pressure guage used to be between the first tow marks. Now it is at the half way mark and pretty much stays there. Is this normal?
  6. Hi, Is your car an 89? If so, I am in need of a fuse cover (ginger) below the steering wheel on the dash. I can also use the driver's side amber turn signal lens cover under the front bumper. Thanks Roger
  7. Be very gentle when turning the bolt. You can use the lug wrench. Turned mine too hard and broke the spot weld. I have noticed when you depress the button for the top release you must hold it in to get the motor to respond. I have also found a lot less stress on the motor if you release the top from the windshield before you tighten the rear hold down pins Hope this helps Rofly
  8. Count me in for the good one too 89 Roger
  9. mine has a top mounted tab on right side and a left mounted tab on the bottom. i replaced it with a chrysler cd radio from a jeep and fit perfectly except for the wire plugs where located in a different position on the back of the radio so i had to take off the electrical tape and it just fit.

  13. are parts still available? I need the rubber weatherstripping between the rear quarter window and the driver's window and the cover over the fuse panel Thanks Roger
  14. My name is Roger. I have recently purchased an 89 tc turbo. I flew into West Palm Beach just to get the car. Drove it for 20 minutes and bought it. I was going to transport it back on Amtrak, but enjoyed driving it so much I drove it back to Pittsburgh. The cigarette lighter isnt working the four speakers in the front arent working and the odometer is stuck on 21,104. The interior is in perfect condition. The body isnt. A few dents and scratches, nothing I cant live with for now. My question is...is there an easy fix for the speakers? Do I need to replace the radio? I have a Blauplunkt 10 cd changer with a GPS system that I plan to install in it. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I think I have read all of the posts since the inception and they have provided a wealth of info. Sorry for the lengthy post but I am really excited.
