  3. My tc has been parked for a couple of months. I had to jump it to get it started. I let it idle for about 30 minutes and the fan never came on and it did overheat. I put some anti freeze in it and it seemed to idle ok but the fan still doesnt come on. I will look at the fuses today. thanks roger

  5. I went to user cp tab and on the left side scroll down to edit options there is a block there to turn on pm. There seems to be some other options that may be useful to you. Roger
  6. In my 89 tc the turn signal lights would work as long as the headlights werent turned on. They flashed very slowly. The 4 way flashers would not work. I took it to an auto electronics shop and it took a week but one fusable link was corroded. The harness under the passenger side carpet and seat was also corroded. He said the car had seen a lot of water. It was dry at this time. 28 dollars in parts and 400 dollars in labor. Interesting enough, the seat switches had broken as they will do and when I picked up the car they were fixed. except the driver's side switch was put in backwards. push it forward the seat goes back etc roger
  7. I have the manual. I paid 75.00 for it and the ad on ebay said it was for the 89 model year. I will include shipping in the cost. It is mint. Let me know if you want it roger
  8. I have it saved as a background screen Roger
  9. the guy at napa parts said the turn signal flasher would not just work on one side. he thought it must be something in the wiring. next week i have to take it in to the auto electronics garage roger
  10. finally have the turn signal on the drivers side working. have even found the turn signal flasher since it was clicking. it was attached right behind the parking brake release. all of the bulbs are working so it must be the flasher. thanks again for your help and advice....roger
  11. Matthew, Thanks for the link. That cleared up a lot. My question is..are the rear bulbs for the turn and stop lights the same 2057 or the same as the front? Thanks Roger
  12. In a tc america newsletter volume 14 #3 page 8 there is an article that states the bulbs recommended in the manuals are incorrect. The manual specifies 2057 for all turn signal bulbs. The newsletter states the turn signal bulbs are 1156 and the parking light bulbs are 67. Is this information accurate? The rear bulbs in the manual specifies 2057 as well. Are the rear bulbs also different? Thanks Roger
  13. I need to take out the front turn signals. Does anyone know what holds them in? Is it a allen screw or phillips or what Thanks Roger
  14. thanks for the help. i have removed the lower black cover and looked around. am i looking for the same metal type flasher like the 4 way flasher? there is a gray plastic housing with wires that snap on the end that looks like it is somewhat attached to the fuse box. roger
  15. a few months ago the right side turn signals would light but not flash. a month ago the left side would light but not flash. now the 4 way flashers wont work. i replaced the 4 way flasher in the fuse box and still wont flash. i checked the fuses and they look good. it seems all of the turn signal bulbs will light. thanks roger

  21. Problems solved. The shift cable was bent. I also believe that my starting problems have been solved. This morning was one of the coldest so far this year and the car started right up. I think the cable was not in park all the way not allowing the car to start. I got the new cable from tcparts. I still cant wait for warm weather Roger
  22. Greg, I replaced my orginal radio and speakers and used the existing wiring. Everything sounds great. You need to just use the green and black wires if I remember correctly. Roger
  23. The garage where I had the car recommended to take it to a transmission shop. The people at the transmission shop removed the cable from the transmission and it is still not shifting. I asked him about Hemi's recommending to remove the valve body and clean it out and applying grease to the shift shaft and he said the cable is completely removed from the transmission and still hard to shift. He believes it is the cable. Can I get a replacement? Thanks Roger
