  1. Would like to talk with you about the 31 Buick. Please send a phone number that you can be reached at. I sent you a couple of emails, but have been having trouble with some not going through. Also, I would love to see any additional phots you may have. I will look forward to your response. Regards, Dave Henneman carguydave425@gmail.com 970-560-0443
  2. Does anyone know what happened to this car? Did someone grab the phone number because the ad is down. Please let me know. Thanks, Dave carguydave425@gmail.com
  3. Walsenburg perhaps has 5 snow producing storms per winter. I live in SW Colorado near Durango and dug up a 1933 Cadillac cowl that was buried 2 feet into the ground and other than the lack of paint on the bottom, it was just as solid as the top.
  4. Yes, the interior visors. Were they optional on lesser series and standard on Presidents? Or were they only available on Presidents? Thanks again, Dave
  5. Well I measured and remeasured and came up with 29 1/2 at the bottom of body line and 28 7/8 at the top. So I am still unsure. Could the Commander and six be 29 1/2 instead of 28 1/2? Also, do you have any insights in regards to the availability of the dual sun visors in each series? Thanks, Dave
  6. I recently acquired a 1933 Studebaker four door sedan body. It is a complete body, minus frame and drivetrain. I have looked everywhere in attempt to find any body numbers, serial number plate, etc. The car was believed to be a President, but in looking at the parts, I would assume the wheelbase to be the shorter of the two Presidents offered that year, if it is a President at all. In one of my books it makes a note that only Presidents have dual interior sun visors, which mine does. I was in hopes that someone here could tell me how to verify which model I have. Does someone have measurements for the hood, doors, and quarter windows? I would assume that the difference in model wheelbases comes from different rear door or quarter window length, and maybe some difference in hood length. Since there were a lot of eight cylinder models this year I maybe mistaken about the hoods. Any insights in this matter would be appreciated. Thanks for your help, Dave
  7. If anyone got the contact information before the craigslist ad went off, could you please send it to David Henneman at carguydave425@gmail.com Thanks for your help tracking down the owner. Regards from Colorado, Dave
  8. I am looking at an unrestored 1953 Skylark. The tub and sheet metal all seem to be there and not too bad. I think it has at least a front seat. I haven't noticed the dashboard. I do however have three big body 1953 Buicks, and was just going to get your opinion of dashboard interchange, and what other parts would interchange with a regular Roadmaster. Also wondered if there was anything special they did to the engine, or if a standard four barrel 322 engine would work without taking too much originallity away. I am hoping to put the Skylark together with some parts from the Roadmaster. I know there are certain parts that are exclusively Skylark. I just wanted to get your opinion about what parts from the Roadmaster I could use on the Skylark. Thanks for your help. Regards from Colorado, Dave Henneman
  9. Got an email that the car has sold Too bad because I would love to have a "full classic" Buick, especially a 35 or earlier (hint, hint.... if you know of any). I guess I have to keep lookin'.
  10. Did the dealership ever install the "super wildcat" package (2x4 carbs and aluminum valve covers) on a standard kw code engine? I am looking at a car that is set up that way. It looks correct in every way (haven't checked the distrbutor yet). Please let me know what you Rivi guys think. Thanks in advance. Dave Henneman

  12. Jon37, Now that I've signed in to the open HET forum, I am having trouble. I was able to put a topic in, but no subject. I am not using my regular computer, I am using my NOOK. I don't know if thats the problem or not. If you have time, and don't mind, could you copy my original post complete with my phone number and email addresses to the HET forum for me? I would appreciate it, otherwise I will keep trying. Thanks again. Regards, Dave Henneman
  13. Dear sir, please contact me in regards to the 1929 Hudson you just purchased. I was goin to leave a message on the HET sight, but couldn't figure out how to do so.
