pepcak replied to pepcak's topic in Packard - Buy/Sell
Bill, I think I have already tried to send you a mail, but it did not come through. I sent you PM now with my postal address. Josef -
Hi, Are they really 29? The they should be 20 inch size unless I am wrong. I am looking for 21 inch size for 1928 Master. Any pictures / price? Thanks Josef

According to Buford the individual who (possibly) has the drawings of wood skeleton is Lee Brown from Houston, Texas. Does anyone here know/met him? Thanks for help.

Hi, I am in the position to have made a new water outlet (that one on the top of the engine head) from SS steel for my Buick. Would there be anyone else interested in this pipe? Estimated price USD 500-550 plus shipping (I am in Europe). There were 2 versions of it, w/ 3 legs and w/ 4 legs, I have 4 legs. If you provide the 3 leg pattern, then this can be made as well. Or - is there anyone in US manufacturing it already? Thanks Josef

WTB: 1960 Electra hood letters, original-style floor mats

Znáte "The Buick" od Terryho Dunhama? 400 stránek historie Buicku, určitě je tam i to, kdy byl zaveden "3 shield emblém". Nebo zkuste "Standard Catalog of Buick" od Krause Publication. S koberečky neporadím, takhle mladé vozy nejsou můj obor :-) -
Master, as it has the upper water neck alongside the whole head.

Hi, does anybody here have a pair of front shock absorbers that fits to 1928 Master (partbooks says 1500A and 1500B) for sale? I have 2 different ones but none fits. Thanks for help. Josef

Hi, talking to Buford proved to be useful, I received a real drawing of the base (sills and cross members). Thanks! Buford has mentioned that he had a full set of drawings of all parts but he had given them to someone a long time ago and cant contact him anymore. Possibly anyone here having the remainder drawings? Thanks again Josef

Hi, thanks for all this help, I believe its what I am looking for. I would start with those on Heathers brother 8, were they Packard made or by some "external" manufacturer (any name put on them anywhere)? Yes, OD measurement and depth would be OK with some detailed pictures if possible. Thanks again Josef BTW - I am not the Packard man (pity:( I have 1928 McLaughlin Buick Master Six, again with some local body, 7 pass limo, see www.pepcak.webzdarma.cz
-
...also, who is the owner of that great grey roadster, to get more detailed pictures of headlamps..... Thanks again. Josef

Rick, this is what I found going through internet pictures of period Packards, nothing what I can grasp. Actually the Packard is in possession of my friend, who does not speak any english (but has also 1920 Twin Six!). The Six carries a custom body built in Czechoslovakia by company Brozik and its very rare car here, in the middle of Europe. Some pictures are at http://www.veteran-vydrevy.vyrobce.cz/html/frame_foto/packard.html Thanks for help. Josef
