1. Here's something I did in the mean time:

Quote:

By the way, I'm pretty sure, that Greg Ross, has accumulated the most mileage.
2. True, I suppose. I guess it's all about how you look at it, and how the label sounds...
3. We should check that out, Jim. But in the mean time, since it was F14's post in the first place, I feel he's free to go wherever, he likes. Okay, the completed thumbnails: Okay, just so that you know, I feel that people would rather have something short, sweet, and conservative. Therefore, these are built upon the 2" X 8", setup. The larger 3" X 12", can be done, but requires an entirely new make-up, since I don't want to stretch the pixels, to be lazy. I'm open to suggestions... I've even thought about placing the Reatta emblem to the right, and the word to the left, to make it bigger... but that's up to the person, who wants one.
4. Yeah, because it's just as simple as black and white! Okay, now for Adobe time... I knew my Destop Publishing shop, in High School, would come to an advantage, sooner or later.
5. Yeah well, big business sucks... that's why we live in a Capitalistic Dictatorship, that pretends it's a Democracy.
6. No exclamation, huh... okay. Let me see what I can do... I guess, I didn't realize, the inflection, you had anticipated.
7. Well, I can always make Reatta bumper stickers, too. That's why I have a brain!
8. I repeat, can I live in his garage?
9. Can I live in his garage?
10. Let me see what I can do. I've been up all night, so I'm going to try to get some sleep. I'll work on it, later, when I'm conscious. Update: Ahhh, what the hey... I'm not going to get to sleep anyway...

Quote:

When I do have some sort of assemblage of consciousness, I'll make sure that the emblem and quote are affixed, in a more centered way. It's not perfect, but for a quick ten minutes, at burn-out, it's not bad.
11. I agree with Barra, regarding the fact that Reattae, aren't worth anything, until you try to buy one. Other than that, since you, probably, don't plan on "restoring" the car, or rather maintaining it, you should sell it. Reattae can be expensive to maintain, but if you keep up with it, they tend to be less expensive than other cars, from GM... or even other cars, in general. If you haven't the time to keep up with maintenance, or even preventative maintenance, it's best to go with a newer, or simpler car. Find something, that's easy to buy parts for. By that, I mean that you should find a vehicle that has a lot of aftermarket parts, that can be found. It's cheaper than OEM, at times. It's better than OEM, at times. For two-doors, Camaros/Firebirds and Mustangs, are forever inundating the market, with aftermarket parts and accessories. Also, go with the Blue Book value, in most cases. I would do a comprehensive rundown, on the Reatta, at the Kelly Blue Book site. That way, you can be certain of the closest value. I would rate your vehicle at "Fair" condition, according to the Blue Book statistics. The Private Party Value is given at $1,280. This includes the mileage and the Wisconsin address.

Brakes

I have done the research, and come up with this: Global4AutoParts Look up the year/make/model (ie. Reatta). If you look under the brake pads, for the front and/or rear, you will get a list, that includes Raybestos. I would call or e-mail first, to make sure that they are the ceramic ones... unless, of course, those are the only kind of brake pads, that Raybestos makes. Update: They seem to be the semi-metallic kind, not the ceramic. I will do more research. Conclusion: Raybestos, suggests the semi-metallic ones, and probably, because they don't make ceramic pads, for the Reatta/Riviera. I have looked up, both.
13. Yeah, but this Camaro muffler, from Flowmaster, isn't up to spec, lengthwise... However, it is the correct type of muffler... so I will do more research, today, because I am bored. I'll get back to you all, with the results... Update: Flowmaster 80-Series Crossflow, seems to be the only acceptable muffler, in my opinion. 80-Series Crossflow Here's why: It's the correct flow assembly, and it's supposedly, 9.75" wide, and 21" long. Therefore, it has, nearly, the same dimensions. You want the one with the 2.5" intake, and 2.5" output. I'm not an expert, but 3" intakes, sound fishy to me, when concerning Reattae. It is #42583 Ignore the fact, that it says V8 only, and the fact that it states the case length at 15". The overall length is 21", after doing to cross-referencing. Hope this was of some reference, to all of you.
14. I saw Farenheit 911, but I didn't like it... nor did I dislike it... I just didn't have an opinion. I don't know whether there was any particular reason for that nonchalance. Most likely, it's because I had already known some of it, and wasn't surprised, by the rest of it. As for Buick City and/or Flint, Michigan... I've never been there, so I can't really say much, excepting, that my ignorance on the matter, would probably be the reason, why I don't care to see that movie. But it's refreshing to know, that the populace, has an interest in the American Motor Vehicle. Whether GM decides to outsource, or not, doesn't concern me, at the moment, if it will save the company from going under... but I do feel that it will be necessary to come back to Flint, when the profits from such a foreign endeavor, will allow it to happen. That, coupled with some good leadership decisions, will allow for a good company. Otherwise, I will have some of the same disgust, that some of you have, with the outsourcing thingy.
15. Possibly, but they've shown no interest as of yet, and probably won't... because it's not a Muscle Car, or some sort of strange contraption. We'll see, though... it may pan out.
16. It'll have to be non-denominational, as in non-specific, to any type of car, because I'm sure the GN, and other Buick owners, will want one. But F14, keeps coming up with new catch-phrases, for Buick owners, and I don't know, that I can keep up with him! Update: How's This? No stealing now, for it isn't copyrighted, and I'd like the opportunity to get these into production! Double Update: I mentioned this, when we talked about it last time... whenever that was, but I will only sell them for cost of production, plus mailing costs, to specific addresses. There's no need to make a profit on someone else's idea. Nor do I want to make a profit, on something I love.
17. My 2000 Regal peels as a matter of course, I don't try... and if I had to, I wouldn't, because buying new tires, every 6 months, is not on my agenda. When I get the time, I'll Adobe a bumpersticker up, and have them printed. I'll let you know, when I start the project. After you coined that phrase, a while back, I've been using it, to great effect. I liked the "notch-back" 5.0 Mustang LX. Especially, the Police Interceptor variant. Now if only I had the cash, to pick one up, for playtime. Manik, that was a work of art...
18. Even though those Roadmasters, had problems with the fit and finish, I still like them. That may be a good idea, with the 5-litre, but I don't know that it would work, quite the same, since I believe they are two different platforms. The cars, I mean. But who knows, and it is a Buick.
19. Ahhh, High School Antics! I remember those days! My advice, continue to mess with the preps. What are they gonna do? Equate their "football skills", to fighting skills, and try to mess with you? Yeah, right! Rich kids never care about their parent-bought cars. In fact, I had fun, picking on some fellow, at the University of Arizona, in Tucson, a few weeks ago. He decided that it would be a good idea, to speed around a corner, from a complete stop, to impress his girl. Little did he know that, by doing so, he'd hit a temporary parking barrier. My car was blocking the view. He totaled his Toyota truck's, front end. I had to laugh at his stupidity. And I made sure he knew that his girl wasn't gonna give him any nookie, that night. To which comment, she looked at me, and smiled. What a tool... but Daddy and Mommy, will pay for the repairs, and he'll be back, doing it again, soon enough. I had a V6 Thunderbird, and you have to beat on them, to get them to move... trust me! Rusty Mark VIII, huh? I had an immaculate one, and it was still a piece of (bleep)! Lincoln hasn't made a good car, in eons. In fact, you could prove that statement, by looking at it's standing, on the list that explains, "problems, per one-hundred vehicles, produced". It's at the dead bottom of the list. In any event, keep up the good work, of pissing-off of those arrogant (bleeps)!
20. There are many factors, which could have caused the horrible gas mileage... but one comes to mind... Chrysler...
