  1. Hello all, I have lurked here off and on for years and am always so grateful for the wisdom and advice you all bring to the table. It may soon be time for me to part with my black 1989 Reatta, but I don't know what to ask for her. Blue Book is one thing, but of course it ain't the only thing when it comes to Reattae. I have a potential buyer who has the ability to work on the car himself, so many of her trouble spots will be relatively insignificant to him. Here's a quick rundown of my Reatta's condition: - approx. 141,000 miles - a little rust above the back window and in the passenger side wheel well; otherwise the body's in good+ condition - air conditioning is nada; it blows, but not cold - CRT screen has recently become selective about when it lights (does anyone else find him/herself memorizing where the buttons are?) - driver's side headlight is lazy about opening - tape deck doesn't work - radio antenna does not extend (burned-out motor?) - suffers from Reatta Brake Rattle Syndrome - headliner is falling down - recently developed trouble holding the road; the back end seems to want to fishtail out behind me around tight curves or on rough road (only *seems* to, it doesn't actually lose ground; it's more a sensation of a car not totally in control) Otherwise, the car is solid. I've never had any engine or tranny trouble. I just put on four new tires and I would gladly put another $1-$2k into her if my family weren't likely to expand beyond the range of a two-seater next year. Any thoughts or suggestions would be very welcome. I don't expect to get rich, but I don't want to sound foolish when it's time to negotiate. Thank you, ReattAmy
