  1. I own a 26 Chrysler 50 touring car and love it. Biggest problem I had with it was the brakes. Finally learned that the mc requires some pressurizing to operate correctly.
  2. I AM, ONCE AGAIN, UP TO NUMBER 12! Finally sold two, then got the urge to "just peek" at Craig's list. I am now the (proud) owner of a 1924 Dodge Brothers sedan, one owner from new, stored since 1956. All I can say is, I have a wonderful wife!!!

  16. Looking to buy an intake/exhaust manifold unit for 1929 Plymouth car. 4 cylinder motor. gdenn@aol.com
  17. I meant the reconstruction of the sheet metal structure; sub rails, cross members, sheet metal panels, alignment and attaching points, and, especially, replacing rotted wood. All the other aspects are relatively easy. There is little written and few clear illustrations of these areas. I have seen some generic articles on wood replacement but nothing step-by-step.
  18. This has been puzzling me for some time: why is it that so much information is available about Model T and Model A mechanical workings but almost nothing available regarding the reconstruction of the chassis of these cars?
  19. An excellent suggestion. Will follow up on this . Thanks.
  20. Really appreciate some advice here; my 26 T Depot Hack starts and runs fine but after a few miles starts to run as if the carb was leaning out. No amount of carb adjustment helps. Have experimented with pulling out the choke slightly and only gets worse. Strangely, when I start out , the motor runs fine. Tried spraying carb cleaner around intake, no difference. tightened manifold bolts, too. thank you for any help.
