  1. John, haven't forgotten about you and your teeth, just haven't had time to dig into it any further. When I get back from Hershey next week, will see what I can do. I have several grilles, when you counted, which way did you count from, need to know by driver or passenger side, thanks, Paul
  2. My book says ------------Imperial Black.
  3. Another interesting little tidbit, " When you push the Onstar button, you are greated etc." Note, all Onstar subscribers are greeted that way, when it is set up, they ask you how you want to be greeted. You are always greeted with your name or however you want to be greeted. Nothing unusual here, Paul
  4. FS 1915 Buick truck, one family owned, only 2 generations. Truck is basically in original condition, has had very little done to it over the years. Most of paint is original, has original canvas top, and wood bed. Runs and drives. Was at the BCA National show in St. Louis in '97. Owner has finally got more realistic with the price, asking $25000 now, offer. If interested, call Paul at 314-574-9853 and I will put you in touch with elderly woman owner. Thanks
  5. I am no authority on this, but I once had a guy call me for one for a '57 Cadi convert, I had one from a '57 RM 75 4dht, and they were no match, the shaft on one was much longer. And to the best of my knowledge, the '57 and '58 Cadi and Buick are the same body. The windshields are much different, I believe the 4dht is taller, which accounts for the different mirror shafts. Paul
  6. Check the code on the top front corner [drivers side] of the block, by the valley cover, it will be JR JS or JT for 401, and JW for a 425. See if that helps, Paul
  7. Adam, I think I have a distributor in case you want to go that way, and I know I have the heater hose clamp, call me. Paul
  8. Adam, a little bit of heat will show where the pin is located, one or the other will heat up before the other, and it will clearly show the pin location. But, you still have to get it out. Don't mess it up, you will never hear the end of it, Paul
  9. BCA board member, currently BCA President FBI [Fat Boys from Illinois] BCA 1942 Tech. Advisor Paul Meyer BCA 29574 St. Louis, Mo.
  10. John, give me a count of some sort to let me know which teeth that you need. Just count from one end or the other, and I will look and see what I have. I have several extra complete grilles. Where are you located ? Paul
  11. Number sequence for the '50 grill goes like this. 4 2 0 8 7 9 1 3 5 as you face the grill from the front. 7 is the center, then even numbers on passenter side, and odd numbers on drivers side. Once you get it right the first time, it is very easy after that, but, very confusing at first. Hope this helps. Good luck, Paul
  12. There seems to be a few erroneous comments made by 1927, whoever he is. I wish he would contact me on the landline, I would love to talk to him in person. My phone number is 314-574-9853 cell. Thanks, Paul Meyer BCA President.
  13. I have had 2 of the Sunshine Turret Tops, sold one, still have the Century 4 door. They were only put in the Special and Century 2 door and 4 door models. From what I have heard, there were probably 200 of them built, and supposedly maybe 25 of the Century's. I can't find anyone who has another Century. Will post pictures when I get the bumpers etc. on the car.
