  1. I would also recommend Russ. He is a first class operation. Stay away from a company near Detroit that advertises nationally....
  2. These downdraft carburetors look late 1930-1940'ish to me.. The updraft carburetors that I believe are correct for a 1932 will say "12" on them and will be marked right and left. While they look the same, they are jetted differently.
  3. That is a really nice speedster body. Did you make it yourself? I am looking for that type of a speedster body for a 1921 HCS (Harry C. Stutz) chassis that I just acquired.
  4. SOLD SOLD SOLD Here's a nice running and driving Early Ford V8 that won't break the bank! This 1936 Tudor sedan is a really solid old car. Very nice body and fenders with good door fit, clean floors, rockers, etc. The car was repainted many years ago and the paint shows the expected overall wear, but looks fine from a distance. The interior was replaced awhile back and is clean, presentable and certainly usable. The chrome is decent. The dashboard is clean with nice original gauges. The car has the desirable 59AB flathead that starts easily, runs quiet and smooth and propels the car down the road nicely. The prior owner said the engine had been rebuilt and it appears that is the truth. The steering, brakes, etc all seem fine and the transmission is quiet. The car has hydraulic brakes which certainly help in the stopping department, near new tires, etc, etc.. This car can be used as-is or driven as you work on it. The price is SOLD and the car is located near Jefferson, WI. Clear and current title. Call 734-730-4274 or email: motoringicons@hotmail.com to schedule a test drive or for more information.

  6. It is for 1936 Ford. I might have an interest in it. Email: motoringicons@hotmail.com or 734-730-4274. Thanks.
  7. On the engine block, driver's side, just above the water inlet and just below the head gasket. Should begin with an A________. The other place it is stamped is on the frame, underneath the cowl, however, this requires lifting the body and splash apron.
  8. As long as the truck doesn't "bottom out" when you hit a railroad track, pothole, big bump, etc, you will be OK.
  9. Carlisle is a great venue with a huge, international gathering of perspective buyers. Of course, it depends on the type of car you are selling. Keep in mind that car corral spaces (especially the good locations!) are at a premium and hard to obtain, so you need to think about this ahead of time. Keep in mind there are nearly 1,000 cars for sale there so you want to make sure you are competitively priced and your car(s) are looking their best and running great. Also, I often see cars for sale and there are no sellers around to talk to perspective buyers. Make sure you are with your car, make sure you have any documentation with you, make sure you have a clear title on hand, etc.
  10. SOLD 4.26.2013 1939 Cadillac Series 61 Coupe. This is a very solid and original car that was given an older, amateur repaint and amateur upholstery several years back. The current owner wanted something a little more modern and reliable to drive around in, so he installed a low mileage, good running 350/350 Chevrolet Engine and Automatic transmission (the transmission is hooked up to the original column shifter). The project never got completed. The car runs and drives, but needs finishing such as wiring, some brake work, etc. The body and fenders are extremely solid and straight. The door, hood, and trunk fit is good. The underneath of the car is solid. The dashboard is complete with all of its original gauges. The chrome is mostly original and decent. The car is complete (the front bumper assembly is there and in the same condition as the rear bumper). It has the original trim tag, etc.A good car to tidy up and use as-is or could be a great basis for an interesting project. Clear and current title, located in Ann Arbor, MI. Please call 734-730-4274 or email:motoringicons@hotmail.com to schedule a viewing or for more information.

  12. Aluminum intake manifold to adapt 3-bolt Stromberg Carburertors to Model A/B engines (can also be adapted to fit a Model T and some overhead valve conversion heads). Appears to be an older reproduction that has not been used. It is machined and is ready to use, or could be polished if one desires. 175.00 postpaid in the USA, more for outside the US. PAYPAL accepted. Ann Arbor, MI 734-730-4274 or motoringicons@hotmail.com
  13. At some point, this book will find its way into another caretaker's (dare I say owner's) hands. No one lives forever, and, there is certainly no guarantee that the current owner's children and/or heirs will find any sentimental value in this item. Likely it will find its way to a live or internet auction where the buying public will determine its true value.
  14. TG57 Roadmaster:That's a great brochure. I especially like how the price of 785.00 was written in pencil! Thank you for sharing that. Steve Mack- Thanks for the nice comment.
  15. Nice, straight and matching pair of rear bumper bracket assemblies. I believe they are for sedans but may fit other models. The small, stamped steel separate upper brackets have some damage but are usable or could be bought replacement. The vendors get about 190.00 plus shipping for a new pair, I'll take 40.00 plus shipping. These will clean up nice. 734-730-4274 or motoringicons@hotmail.com Located in Ann Arbor, MI.
  16. 1941 Dodge Canopy Express. This is an extremely rare, factory- bodied truck that was built in very low numbers and very few survive today. This truck was fully restored about 10 years ago and recently cosmetically upgraded as needed. Today, it is ready to show or drive and needs nothing. Excellent paint, upholstery, wood, dashboard, etc. The truck runs and drives great and the engine bay and chassis are extremely clean and well detailed. A great truck that can be used for advertising and displays or would be a great addition to any collection. Clear and current title. Asking 37,500.00 but will consider offers. Located near Detroit, MI. Please call 734-730-4274 or email: motoringicons@hotmail.com to schedule a viewing or for more information.
