  3. Doubt there is much need for this piece of iron. I suspect it is a "crash item". When was the last time you heard of some one restoring or seen a '63-66 series 20-30 chev pickup. No idea what D-D is. The is a REF TO "Dubl-Duti". ?? Thanks to all that have replied. Looks like one of those you put on the shelf or hang high on a hook in the garage.
  4. Connects to a backing plate, never thought of that, found a sn: 3852176GM21. Doesn't match any numbers in my books
  5. Well, here you go. I have searched all my books and have no idea what this fits. I am assuming it is a pitman arm. Could this be from a bell crank suspension system? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Dan

  9. Made of aluminum, single piece, 2 5/8 in ID; 2 7/16 inch thread ID; 2 inch tall. Thanks for the reply.
  10. Another find. What year Olds does this grease cap fit? Inside threads are in good shape. Thanks
  11. OK, again this thinkin' thing. The clear lens is small and red lens is large. So this is correct for only a few cars? Are there many Model T's , post '23, that have no starter or generator? Just thinking of the market for the lamp and a reasonable price.
  12. Thanks oldford. If it a reproduction, would still have the script "Ford-O" on it. Dan
  13. This lamp appears to be NOS or a repop. It is marked in script "Ford-0" Brown. I assume Brown was the mfg. This is a right side lamp. The color is 90%+. Any suggestions to year of application and could this possibly be NOS, looking for all opinions. Thanks Dan
  14. These pix are of an oil lamp I just acquired. It is Dietz lamp with Dietz embossed on the top. The red glass is broken, could be glued together. This may have been for a buggy, or a turn of the 20th century car. Open to all information and suggestions. Thanks Dan dlmnarx@bellsouth dot net
  15. Yes there is a pair, and they are complete. There is also one with the bottom missing, that could be used for parts or repaired. The nickle plating is less than 50%.
  16. These are available in a local antique store. Are they a generic lamp or was there a specific car application? Are these common at big meets like Hershey? Glass is good, condition is fair. Are they worth $150 for resale? Top is scripted NEVEROUT. Thanks Dan
  17. The original title says the VIN is located on the frame. Anyone know where?
  18. OK folks, when did a Chevrolet become a Chevy? We all use the term, but when did "Chevy" become part of our culture. Just the musings of a country bumpkin: Dan
