I have trouble at times and Jim says it is because of AOL
  5. I was driving the 91 last night and stopped at a Food Lion for a short. Came out and started the car and had a heck of a vibration - went away in 30 seconds. I tried starting again several times during the night and got the same action . ... seems to be happening when the a/c kicks in and I paid attention to the compressor and belt which appears to be fine with no adverse looking action or vibration/fluttering -any ideas please. The a/c has been converted.... thanks, Nic

  8. Hmmmmmm, never gave bleach a thought...thanks culus - good tip sir Hope things get better for you Padgett.....
  9. Carefully....I used regular masking tape - two layers and carefully used the paint remover. Did not use water to rinse until I removed approximately 99% of the stripper and the old clear with a red shop rag - then rinsed with warm water.
  10. Actually any paint remover will work - of coures the heavy duty aircraft stuff is better, but will still have to use two separate coats to get it all gone. I then use Klasse AIO (as a light polish), and then several coats of the Klasse finish wax or whatever it is called - lasts months.....
  11. Yes, remove the overflow tank (easy), insert an ample amount of heavy duty red (or purple power) detergent/soap together with a "red shop rag" or similar heavy cloth rag into the tank, plug or rather cover the holes and shake like the dickens - you will be amazed.....will look almost like brand new Nic
  12. In complete agreement ! THANKS McReatta And looks like Kevin passed the 1000 mark without recongnition - belated appreciation applied ....THANKS KDIRK ! THANKS TO *ALL* WHO CONTRIBUTE......

  15. Hey Folks, What side of the car are all of the wiring harnesses routed through...passenger or driver side please.... AND where are the splices that we need to be concerned about? Reason for asking is I had a bad water leak from the left door glass weatherstrip in the coupe, and I had to remove the carpet, and jute and dry out everything underneath the drivers seat and up the front of the back "jump area" - do I have cause to worry please? Thanks, Nic
