8. jnp when I restored my olds - had a opp's - learning phase had to reorder another strip what I found is start your bending in middle of strip - that way if its like olds channel you will beable to mold chrome molding ( it will grow longer that channel ) and you'll have to form it in both directions go slow - you'll get the hang of it the dustseals - I bent them same way and flatten ends where they touched window channel like any project it just takes time

 19. rwp442 I'll take a stab at your question the bubbles underneath primer could be OIL (on finger tips) off whoever hands sanded that hood or at the least last one to handle it and paint wont stick to that surface I have seen paint jobs a few years old and find a very light finger print in paint job somewhere . now I dont scruntize nice paint jobs , but minor opps do happen , strip hood again and wear latex gloves - till you get it primed aoc

 24. gallager welcome to aaca forum lets see if I can guess at this you talked about inside light and amp gauge one thing about generators is they get weak over time they also dont make much amps at a idle are headlight dim while car is idling do lights sort of lightly dim with turn signals if any of the above is happening have the generator rebuilt if this car is a driver and not a aaca show car - I myself would change over to a one-wire alternator - they produce more amps at idle and more amps as a unit 63amps to 109amps . a 63amp would be a better choice did change on older jeep - and it only had a 36 amp alternator hope this helps
