  1. Has a 6 with the three speed overdrive. Located in N Ca. Asking $8,800 I would also at this point sell the olds if the offer was right.
  2. Have you asked the guys over on realoldspower.com about it?
  3. I purchased a set of both upper and lower from my local gmc, caddilac dealer. Told the parts guy what I needed and he had them in stock.
  4. Okay, I went and looked up what I am running. 235x45 front 275x40 rear on 17x8 with 4.75 backspacing. Also forgot to mention I am running the hotchkis tubular front end, which I learned widens the track 3/8 and lowers the car 3/4. So the front is dropped 2.75 back is 3
  5. I have to disagree with Rocketraider regarding the wheels. I am running 17x8 on my 68 Convt and have not had any real issues with the fit. I have a very very very slight rub on full right lock on the front passenger side. The car has been dropped 3 inches from stock height also. Running 235x45 up front can't remember what I have out back, but it is larger. This picture is before I lowered the car
  6. Maybe thinking about the 56 my next door neighbor has. All might be interested in the cars on my dead end street of 25 homes. So in less than a 1/4 mile: 56 Belair HT 55 Belair No Post 68 El Camino 65 Chevelle 67/or 8 Corvette 68 Cutlass S Convt(Mine) 55 210 4 door wagon(I might buy this weekend) Datsun 210 Convert(Not sure year)
  7. 3 speed manual transmission be worth? It is currently in a 56 210 wagon, numbers matching car
  8. Where in NoCal are you? I have a complete disc brake front end off my 68 Cutlass boxed up in the corner of the garage. Took it off the car this summer to upgrade to b-body front end. Let me know if you are interested in it. bryandrussell@yahoo.com
  9. Well, not sure where you are located, but there is a 56 wagon parts car on ebay. Now this is funny, I just double checked to make sure I was right and noticed it is in my home town. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6160&item=4510138473&rd=1
  10. guys on realoldspower claim it is as good as a be cool for half the price. I am considering it, I went with a 4 core and it did not help me at all. They claim this one will keep you at 180 all day long. Yes, we have an All-Aluminum radiator for your car. It is a Northern "All-Pro", All-Aluminum, High Performance radiator that is a "drop-in replacement" and is made from aircraft quality aluminum. Featuring a 2 1/4" thick, 2-row oven brazed (no epoxy) core, this radiator provides 20% to 25% more cooling capacity than a standard radiator. Radiator tanks are professionally built using formed tanks that retain the original geometerical shape and aerodynamics, and incorporate stiffening channels for added tank strenght. This radiator has an integral Ultra-Duty oil cooler for automatic transmission applications. This radiator has a natural (unpolished) finish and costs $340.00 + shipping
  11. Okay, so if someone converted your car to a cable controlled valve is there a reason to go back to the vacuum control? My cable valve seems to be always on right now so I need to replace it.
  12. This is on a 68, but you add what a plastic fuel filter in line to increase the amount of fuel the vent allows without spilling it?
  13. might take me a few days. I am running 245x45x17 in front and 275x40x17 in the rear.
  14. I think you can get most of that stuff from yearone.com
  15. That was what I was wondering, what about the roller and porting of a set of g heads. I pulled the heads off to replace a leaking gasket and wondered about doing any additional work while they are off. I was thinking the money might be better spent on a 4 speed auto tranny, or upgraded four wheel disc brakes. Thanks
