  2. My first car was a 55 chevy belair, bought as just a body. My brother and I used a 61 and a 65 Impala as donor cars for the 327 engine,4-spd muncie, and the 4:11 rear, and bucket seats. In the summer we put the car together to be my first car on the street for my 17th birthday. It Was a proud day to roll down the boulevard in primer black paint, cragar mags with straight headers. ronvb

    Coolant Leak

Most water pumps have weep holes, when they leak from there it is only a matter of time before the seal goes and you will have a large puddle of anti-freeze on the ground. ronvb
  10. Nic, I got a code 48 once on our 90 Reatta, not long after the car went thru NJ motor vehicle inspection. When they jacked the car up and after they ran the front wheels on on the dynameter the ABS light came on and stayed on.I took the car on the highway and it went off and stayed off once I got it up to highway speed. ronvb

  12. It would be the quickest way to make a potential classic non-original .It may give you some fresh air and sun for about $250-$400 but it does take away from the value of the car. ronvb <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

    Brake Pump Noise?

Seems to me that there was mention of "PRIOR" for brake pump/motor assembly maybe $400-500 range.Maybe a search on Prior or brake pumps will give you some insight. As far as the sensor, it could be disconnected or bad, and or a possible bad EBCM. ronvb
