1. Hi Steve, thank you very much. I guessed that, that a Texan could be a person from Texas. Thank you for the information about these Dodge. My friend can buy this emblem, he has a 1958 Dodge Sierra Custom Station and he is wondering, why his car has such holes in the middle of the rear trunk hood. The holes are not symmetric so he think that the Texan emblem could fit these holes. Greetings Tom

 6. Ooops, of course I mean the Plymouth. Has the car a name ? @ Steve : You may be interested in it that we own such an Auto Union ( or DKW called ) 1000 SP. Same model and as far as I can see the same color. It is a early model of the 1000 SP in your picture because it has the larger tail fins. The later models have more rounded tail fins. It was too futuristic for Germans in the 50s. If you want I can send a photo of our 1000 SP. Greetings Tom

I would like to build in the rear window but this it not possible when I have not attached the lower moulding. Any hints how I can do this without the clips ? Greetings Tom
 16. Hello ! At first, I am sorry for my English. Sometimes it is ok and sometimes I make big mistakes. And know I am missing the spell check here. So perhaps there are now more mistakes... ..... The car has a battery ignition system like a Ford Model T and it is not so small as it looks like. It has a powerful 2 cylinder 12 hp engine with around 150 cui. The car has a normal clutch and brake pedal but a "funny" gas pedal. The movement is not freely as usual ( if you press a gas pedal down, it will come up again when you remove your feet from the pedal ), it snaps into several notches. Usually the rod of the gas pedal goes to the throttle valve and when you would move the throttle valve you would move the gas pedal. But here I have at the rods two springs and I can close the throttle valve with the rod without to move the gas pedal. I wonder when I try to start the car and the engine speed becomes lower because it has the load of the car, if the throttle valve starts to close and then the engine has to less power to start the car. I don?t know if you know what I mean ? It is not easy to explain technical things. To write something about this car is not easy, because we don?t know a lot of this car regarding the history. We just know that Aster built mainly engines for cars, motor cycles and so on and just a very few cars. Thanks for your help. Tom

 22. Hello ! Now we have the engine timing, new pistons, new valves, gasket set and a new problem with our 1929 Continental 11 E Engine : The carburetor. It is a Stromberg T2 and the housing is in very bad condition. I asked already at "The carburetor shop" but the said that it is very hard to get a good carb like this. Has somebody an idea which carb. we could use instead of the Stromberg ? It is an updraft type and the engine is a 6 cylinder with 230 cui. Thank you Tom
