  3. 1975 Ford RARE Carryall Panel - $37,500 (Prescott) https://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/cto/d/prescott-1975-ford-rare-carryall-panel/7460050870.html RARE, RARE, RARE. My 1975 Ford panel is part of the Ford Carryall family that was produced for the Mexican and Argentina markets. I have owned some Carryalls in the past but this is the only panel I have ever seen anywhere. It is extremely clean with very low kilometers (miles). It was part of a family owned business deep in Mexico. They didn’t use it much and finally sold it to me. It has a Ford 302 V8 with a manual 4 speed trans. The trucks didn’t come with heat or air but all the holes are punched in the fire wall to run them, Ford kept it simple. Mine does have power steering which installed by the previous owner. The floor pans, door panels and kicks are in great shape, not a rust bucket. Same thing with the roof and drip rails. This thing will make an awesome street rod or lifted 4x. If you want to be the only guy in the states with a dent side Ford that no one else has, this is it. Drive it to your next coffee and cars and see how much attention it draws. In Feb of this year a gray Carryall named El Chapo went in the 160 plus range at the Scottsdale auction. Could you imagine what mine would look like all done with gold leaf lettering, Joe’s Bar & Grill, on the side. Ok boys and girls I have decided to let it go so you Ford gear heads step up. It has a clean AZ title with current tags. Have more pics. odometer: 59993 copy and paste into your email: contact name: Randy (928) 460-3634

  5. Hello: I am new to the world of automotive on-line discussion forums. Finding this ACCA forum has been both interesting and very informative and I plan to support it with a club membership. I appreciate and am learning a lot about antique and classic cars, but my true love, and what I collect, are '50's and '60's American cars, but not muscle car models. I am looking for a general interest, non-mark-specific forum, similar to this AACA forum that centers on or specializes in cars of these years. My collection at the moment ranges from Buick, Ford, Chevrolet, to International and Studebaker, (sedans, pick ups, wagons and convertibles) from 1951 to 1968. I would appreciate any advice, direction and assistance if you know of such a forum and/or how to search for what I am looking for. Again, I intend to continue with AACA, but being somewhat physically isolated in the WEST, it's not possible to participate in any of the eastern events. Your comments and suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  8. California unemployment benefits must be very substantial to be able to afford $1500 to $2500 to rent an apartment. When my employer went out of business, and I was on unemployment, I spent all my savings, ate mostly vegetables (cooked at home), learned to appreciate drinking water (never any soda pop, much less alcohol or tobacco), walked much more than drove my car(which luckily was paid for), and went to the public health clinic. Benefits weren't even at subsistence level. Happily, it didn't last long. The most lasting effect was a great appreciation for being employed and having a couple of nickels to rub together. The experience was good motivation to get up and get going.
  9. They remind me of late '60's to early '70's Mopar buckets. You might want to contact a Mopar site and also post it in the Chrysler AACA forum section further down the list . Could be some foreign car, too.
  10. On my way home from work this evening, coming up a grade that my Cherokee kicks down a gear to maintain 45 to 50 mph, I was passed by a scruffy white 1963 Buick Skylark 4 door sedan, hell-bent-for-leather in the fast lane. Black walls, factory wheel covers and paint that may never have been washed, much less waxed. Must have been the aluminum V8 - sounded strong, but no custom dual exhaust. The driver had a smile on his face!
  11. Where else would put a 4 speed shifter? Not in the column on a Mopar...

A TOTAL OF 315 CARS ADDITIONAL CARS WERE BUILT AFTER THIS BUT NOT SURE IF THAT TOTAL INCLUDES THE 35 PROTOTYPES. SOME SUGGEST 39 PROTOTYPES WERE BUILT. 15. Some of these "have some affinity to the hobby." or the hobbyist (per the forum rules) Enjoy! INSIGHTS Gives you something to really think about. So many of these are really true! The ability to speak several languages is an asset, but the ability to keep your mouth shut in any language is priceless, Be decisive. Right or wrong, make a decision. The road is paved with flat squirrels who couldn't make a decision. Happiness is not having to set the alarm clock. Getting another set of teeth would be much more useful at 60 than at age 6. "The starting pay is $40,000. Later it can go up to $80,000." "Great, I'll start later." Trust science. Studies show that if your parents didn't have children there's a high probability you won't either. If you're not called crazy when you start something new, then you're not thinking big enough. Only in math problems can you buy 60 cantaloupe melons, and no one asks - "What the Hell is wrong with you?" "I'm 85 and my body is full of aches and pains." "Well, I'm 85 and I feel like a newborn baby." "Really?" "Yep, no teeth, no hair, and I just wet my pants." When the pool re-opens, due to social distancing rules, there will be no water in lanes 1, 3, and 5. Tip: Save business cards of people you don't like. If you ever hit a parked car accidentally, just write, "Sorry" on the back and leave it on the windshield. When I get a headache, I take two aspirin and keep away from children just like the bottle says. Just once, I want the username and password prompt to say, "Close enough." Becoming an adult is the dumbest thing I've ever done. Life is like a helicopter. I don't know how to operate one either. Did you hear about the restaurant on the moon? Great food; no atmosphere. If you see me talking to myself just move along. I'm self-employed. We're having a meeting. "Your call is very important to us. Please enjoy this 40-minute flute solo". I envy people who grow old gracefully. They age like a fine wine. I'm ageing like milk. Getting sour and chunky. Does anyone else have a plastic bag full of plastic bags, or is it just me? I hate it when I can't figure out how to operate the iPad and my tech support guy is asleep. She's 5 and it's past her bedtime. Today's 3-year-olds can switch on laptops and open their favorite apps. When I was 3, I ate mud. Tip for a successful marriage: Don't ask your wife when dinner will be ready while she's mowing the lawn. (This actually happened to me a few times.) Sooo, you drive across town to a gym to walk on a treadmill?

  17. Here are two pictures of early model Henry J's (1951). The The tail lights were small and round, not on the rear fender tips. For 1952-1954, the tail lights were moved to fin tips and either back-up lamps or block-off plates were used where the earlier tail lights were located, per these photos: The 1953 Sears Allstate was reviewed by(Hemming's) Special Interest Autos #155, Sept. 1998, author Arch Brown, reprint, 2013. The example in the article has an opening (optional) trunk lid. Here is the website: https://www.hemmings.com/stories/2013/09/01/sia-flashback-1953-allstate-henry-j-in-drag
