Gene T. Wieder, of Coopersburg, PA, passed away early Monday morning on the 11th of September, 2023. Gene took a tremendous pride and joy in restoring, driving, and showing his two 1932 GM Sport Coupes, one Oldsmobile and one Chevy. Both cars are AACA Grand National Award Winners with the Oldsmobile also achieving Ransom E Olds National Award. For years he has driven and shown these cars at meets around Eastern Pennsylvania, in particular Carlisle, Hershey, and Das Awkscht Fescht among many others. Das Awkscht Fescht in particular was his personal favorite as it was his home town show and over the years the Wieder family was influential in helping run and grow the event. Gene recently also helped to restore another 32, this time a 1932 Pontiac Sport Coupe, owned by his son Bryon.

Had same problem with Universal Tire (part of Coker) I went through it 3 times with mine till I got a set that hasen't turn brown as of yet. They do stand behind the warranty but you are out mounting, balancing and all your time. One set I got I didn't even mount just cleaned Blue off and baked in sun and they turned. Coker and Universal get all there tires from same tire manufacture and thats where the quality control stinks or is lacking, they make a patch of tire between their normal product line and can care less if the product is good or bad they bid them out on a production quote and time is money ! looking for GLASS parking light lens for front fender do you have any for a 32 Olds ?

Yes , yes they did replace them it took 2 times of shipping me tires back and forth to get a good set that didn't have brownish color or other problems. I have Firestones on car so far since mid winter the Lesters that I originally had couldn't be had just lots of problems with them.

Anyone figure out a way to sort/ llookup parts for a specific year and make? it used to be year and make now all you get is 2or 3 thousand parts that are irrelevent !

Group 1 battery form Napa work great Group 2 is about 1-1/2" longer and is probably too long for battery holder

three arm puller works soak threads under axle nut hit on with oak block will help loosen from axle tamper

Try Mac Blair listed in post above you can use a Buick mat and trim to fit My father used one from Mac on his 32 olds. and I used one in my 32 Pontiac

Just curious on what size the tires my be?

Working on a early 30's Potter trunk and trying to remover the front and top moldings on the lid. No fasteners on the inside ie : clips or nuts, rivits . Any ideas on removal ? Also need information on lock and latch for replacement or repair

my tag only has Anderson Ind. on top , Dos Bob's have them too?

Any place to get a tag with the 2 fields and have them with numbers stamped in them? Also how is the best way to remove tag for replacemnt aren't they rivited in place?
