  1. Oh right, yeah sorry Bob, sometimes the ideas get lost in translation without in person speech. Thank you. here is a picture of it.
  2. Well, if your an RoA member and go to the options not included segment. So, it is only possible to a certain extent. Unless you have a 1967 Riviera, then forget it, hehe...
  3. After cleaning more, indeed there is a TA with 080 under it. And what I think is the date code on body tag looks to be 12C.
  4. Thank you very much for that file. Much appreciated. I read through it, but why are you saying that it is impossible to determine if an engine is a TA or WA? So hypothetically, If I have a 71 GS, that has a engine with a TA on it and I find that it has all the GS elements? What is the determining factor that is unobtainable? Rivman for example has a WA on the block and it is a GS 72. Sorry, I am perhaps missing something. I know that odd things can happen at the factor and dealership, and of course beyond-aftermarket, but certainly there are some clue to follow. Jim Weise seemed more in the mind set of a hotrodder, while I am more interested in legitimizing and documenting evidence for pure factory original stock verification, when possible, if accurate. Thanks again.
  5. Purported 455 Buick Riviera 71 GS engine stamp date code. I see an "A" then bellow "080" I am guessing that if I clear it off more, perhaps it would reveal a "TA" for GS and then the 080 is January 8th? 1970, first week in August, or??? Or is the first digit a letter? Sorry for the rough picture. Any thoughts? Thank you.
  6. Hey there, we had a 73 Riviera once that had a similar plaque. When special ordering a Riviera it seems that there was an option to include such a plaque. Also, some people added these after. The car was clocked at 150mph? Could you provide some pictures and elucidate further on the rare options and build? Thank you.

Looks like it has a $4K buy it now price on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Buick-Riviera-Found-and-bought-all-exterior-emblems-/322090658659?forcerrptr=true&hash=item4afe196b63:g:~NYAAOSw~oFXI1of&item=322090658659
  8. Very Nice. What was the method to get the lettering back on control panels?
  9. Please let me know if someone is interested in a 67 GS air cleaner assembly (California version). Thank you. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1967-Buick-GS-Star-Wars-Air-Cleaner-Assembly-Riviera-Skylark-Gran-Sport-/272221926134?hash=item3f61b0f2f6:g:K4cAAOSwYudXGdvL&vxp=mtr
  10. Nice, thank you for all the intel. So, sorry for asking the same question when someone right before me did. But, certainly someone is driving around with a functioning 65 passenger side mirror? Tony, that 66 looks like my favorite 66 color (Shadow Turquoise). I would love to see some more pictures! Is that custom, with the dash and Steering wheel Aqua and the rest white?
  11. Great reminder. Thank you.
  12. Yeah, thanks, I have also heard that for at least 67 Rivieras. Anyone know if this is the case for 65 and others? A functioning passenger rear view sounds like a good idea to me...
  13. In answering my own question here on the forum, I was told that only the 63/64 clocked mirror would work best and that the 65 remote mirror can not be clocked to work because they are one piece and not the two. Other comments still welcome please.
  14. So, my cousin recently purchased a beautiful Burgundy Mist 65 Riviera GS, but he wants to add a functioning passenger side rear view mirror. I understand that it was not offered in 65 like it was in 63/64 so one option is to get a 63/64 or a "clocked mirror," put on. To make the mirror identical to the 65 drivers (LH) remote mirror, could we just put on a 65 remote mirror on the passenger (RH) side minus the cable control? Thank you for any advise in this matter.
  15. Here is the link...took me a bit to find: http://classifieds.rennug.com//classifieds/viewad.cgi?adindex=3912919
  16. I lowered the price for the final end of auction (eBay). If it does not sell, I will be putting it on my non-GS triple green Riviera 8). http://www.ebay.com/itm/1967-Buick-GS-Star-Wars-Air-Cleaner-Assembly-/272205354101?hash=item3f60b41475:g:7R0AAOSwSzdXCBP5&vxp=mtr
  17. So with Eds initial lead I was able to track down the guy who made the wheels for that 67 Below. His name is Mike Curtis. He said that he can replicate the original wheels in larger sizes for a ballpark figure of $4500 a set (Im sure the price varies per project).
  18. Thanks for the clue Ed. I will see what I can find.
  19. Hello there, Does anyone know if there is a specialty company that makes wheels that look identical, yet in 17 or 18 inch? Thanks.
  20. I understand I have it priced high. I am taking offers if someone from RoA or otherwise needs to complete their project. roamember14072@gmail.com Thank you for your time. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1967-Buick-GS-Star-Wars-Air-Cleaner-Assembly-/272205354101?hash=item3f60b41475:g:7R0AAOSwSzdXCBP5&vxp=mtr
