  1. no pictures here /  Starter with ovalized holes to make a different starter try to work. When the proper  starter installed, found the  flywheel gear was replaced with a thicker one. Thus the starter gear wont mesh, just grinds face of flywheel gear...........not to mention broken pressure plate bolts........opening water jacket cover - water cavity absolutely FULL of multicolored layers of dirt, antifreeze, and what ever.........well it is a project contuining.

  2. 3 of my cars use 20" rims.

At F markets I have found some with bumps on one side, to control slip on.

If you find one with proper width, the hole for tube air inlet may not line up with your spokes,,,,,,just drill a new hole and fill the other.

I have also had issues with a  notch to help locate rim with one of the mounting  bolts passing thru

Use that as a base, and adjust accordingly

    Best wishes.

  5. Just trying to understand:  your words.

a small can mounted on the firewall with a tube leading down and splitting into 2 tubes which appear to enter valve area just below the exhaust manifold.  (  possible oiling of lifters )

The can appears to have a vacuum pick up tube  and a pull out knob on the inside firewall

    ////////////////////////////////

Can looks like it un screws, to fill with something  oil ?

Vacuum line inside of firewall  and a pull out knob ( is knob spring loaded?  it may be a pump method to force oil to lifter area? )

I'm having trouble thinking of vacuum line and its attachment under cowl ) Pictures?

More through placement placement of all "lines" to areas.

  6. My Essex cars require the added cylinder add ons to each of the four lift arms.  They are necessary to clear the running boards.
    Use the frame only.
The front arms are quite close to rear of engine on each side.

Your wheel base is  longer than my 115 inches, hope this helps a little.

  7. McCellan Blair  of Indiana Penn. passed away Wednesday 3-22.

Mac was a family man, humbly  proud of them all. .

He was a very accomplished person, seldom speaking of his personal accomplishmenrs.  A true friend always willing to help and befriend others with his insights and skills.

His alter image as 32 Buick Registery was legendary, as was his service to AACA.

Camping with him at Hershey for over four decades was his gift to our group.
