Posted by Mike Wakeman on a facebook page. He writes - "My families(sic) home town in Northern California. Early 1900s. The town was established in 1848 when gold was discovered near here which started the great gold rush of 1949" but neglects to mention the name of the town.
The car in the photo all look to be more expensive models, and are decorated. Must be some sort of special occasion.

Oldsmobile had about 75 feet of the sharpest twelve foot tall plush blue curtains.
When Stemple came to Cadilliac for the reviews, I went to Olds to borrow the curtains....................never knew what Olds did with them..........................

My camping buddies and I loved to peruse the discard piles.
It was a " ritual of Hershey to us"
Now they are pre picked for us by the Hershey trash trucks, just can't seem to beat them to the treasurers!
this year it will be 59 straight years in a row of being on the grounds at Hershey time.

use original float, carefully clean it, go to hobby shop, get model airplane dope ( dope means paint), it is resistant to all......................
can even use it to seal oil pan erosion from acid, but not actual holes.

Sure glad it was yours, I wont need to check

Put the chain in a piece of fire hose type of material, avoid some paint repair.
And a GOOD locking/connection on chain ends.

I would like to measure the width of the running board, it looks very wide, like Hudson
Also, the left rear fender, the width of rear fender, as it protrudes out board from body, seems much wider than the body, as like Hudson.
Interesting to consider
