I may have misunderstood what u guys are saying.
Does the Mr G kit come with a list/diagram that shows the placement of each screw in our cars?

Where are u located

Welcome. My car started its life with the same color as yours. Nice ride brother

Me & a buddy just installed my rear glass yesterday. It was pretty easy to do.
Does this 5/16” ribbon work for the windshield installation too? Or is it a different size we need?

I just replaced mine. Yes those the correct parts. I bought mine from the guys at http://Rubbertherightway.com

Arnulfo, u can have the stainless steel holders I bought from Russ @ Centerville if u need them. I took them off of my car when I decided to go with custom fit wires.

Wow! Great work Tom. Thank U! This info clears up a lot.
Years ago I acquired the smaller square pieces that cover the seat mount bracket & bolts. I still don’t know which one goes where or how to position them. Maybe U or someone can post a pic of these mounted on the car. 🙏🏼
I recently discovered & purchased two left side driver seat bottom pieces. A buddy was looking for one also. So I bought two.
A question I had was made clear when Tom explained that there are significant differences in the 3 years. I must have two different year pieces? U can see one end of one I have is wider than the other. And I’ve tried to line the holes up on the seat with the holes on the plastic pieces & they don’t match on my 65. So do I have 63/64 pieces 🤔??
Lots of good info. I did not know there was two pieces to the left side. Nor did I know there were right side pieces.
Question of the day:
Are these now the new “unobtainable” Riviera parts? Haha
-
I could use some direction pls.
My Riviera body manual shows that the rear windows uses 10 spacers. 4 of one size & 6 of another.
I ordered the 3M kit with setting blocks shown above. When it arrived I found that it only came with 2 setting blocks.
I’m confused. Is this kit suppose to have the 10 spacers? Or am I suppose to order them separately?
Any experience or help would be appreciated

What system did you install? Worth the cost & effort...?
Holley Sniper EFI. So worth it!!
I forgot to snap pix 🤦🏻♂️. I plan to start a thread on my experience. Look for that soon…I hope 🤞🏼

Without taking this thread into left field, I’ve purchased tons of misc new/used pieces from James (including pedal pads) & all have met my expectations. I know, who am I right? no one…but James is easy to talk to, always responds to messages, parts shipped promptly & the guy even text messages. I love that…need a part? Text him & he replies haha
I also like that, like a lot of you, he started his business by parting one car out from his house haha

As I studied your pix, it seems like
u might have a remote mirror from a 63/64?? I don’t know the difference. Hope someone can chime in. But your interior door panel mounting plate is different than the one on my 65. Here are some pix.
My toggle thingy is held to the mounting plate by a plastic clip (which is probably easy to find if I break mine…NOT haha). The plate has a (for lack of a better term) clocking nub that only allows the plate to sit in one position over the toggle. Then the holes for the plastic clip line up.
U still might get yours to work right tho. I can see your mounting plate has a clocking nub too. That metal ring looks like it has two little tabs that probably hook onto the toggle. Then screw the ring to the back of the plate.
Im sure it’s not as easy. I’m only guessing from what I can see. Hope this helps, keep us posted

James at BestOfferCounts (215) 767-0845, who has an ad in the back of the Riview, is a good contact for first gen Riv parts. He also had a fuel tank prototype made & will be making tanks available to us in Jan/Feb too. Tight race haha

I dont think my setup is a good representation for u. Unless u are going with EFI like me. I had to fab up a throttle bracket & I am not a fab guy. Many attempts. Finally got it tho.
I don’t think a stock setup sits at this angle. I believe they sit parallel to the valve covers. Maybe someone else can reply with a stock pic

Nope. I guess the Mod’s thought Gender, Location & Reputation where more important fields to show when accessing the forum from my phone. Not much time to sit at a computer nowadays haha

Do u know if this “list of screws” tells us where each screw goes/belongs in our car?
