  1. Quick question Ian, how did you slide the ash tray holder mech. off the support bracket?//

Here is a neat trick if not everyone has not figured it out yet, before you begin, and when your car is still in one piece, I take a small drill bit (1/8") drill holes in out of sight places to aid in the re-lining up of panels, fender,ect, then when it comes time to put your restoration back together line up these holes by means of (1/8" drill bits or 1/8 piece of steel shaft ) and bolt up saves time and trial, fitting everything back in place as original,,,but I think most have use this method in one way or another ..

If your looking for serious watch the news , if your looking to explore and gain knowledge, and have a little light humor, stay put,,,,,,,I had a 36 Dodge and had little choise what to do with it, due to it was a parts car at best, I went the same route (rod ) at least I saved it from the shreadder.........and someone is still enjoying it today.... post some pictures ,always nice to see what's in the others garden............. forgot to mention, stay stronger in your fight with the C..................

  9. Revamped tail light bucket bracket and springs, little fussin and fightin, but they are in and seem to work well, now take it all apart for clean up....

  11. Here is what I have, pictures 1 2 3 the other 2 pictures are adapting new rim and springs into 1934 Dodge bullet shaped tail lights, with a little fanagleing they seem to fit ok.....

  13. that's why there is a small nut and bolt holding it together instead of the pin.....

  16. now that I know mine is broke it seems to me I have seen this same part on something, gear shift on bike or maybe snow machine, cant hurt to see if I can find one to match it,,,if they all have this flaw why not change it out to something almost identical but made without the flaw, no???

  18. 1934 original visors, pictures show complete visor,frame only, visor down visor up in place , the visor is the same front and back ( covering )
  19. 34dodge,,,, if you get a chance how about a picture of the vent opening handle, mine may be broken, not sure until I see another, or if may be made that way...?? Thanks in advance....

I only have the one( drivers side ) and the frame only, for passager side, will have to duplicate to make up.but I will do the same ,masonite, and or door panel material for stiff inner and ad maybe thin layer of form padding and cover as original..have search a bit for one but no luck, "good hunting " I will keep an eye out....and let you know if I find ......
