dodgedh2 … Yes your correct it is a complete Hubcap, what is seen in the photo is the thin stamped copper cover over a thicker inner steel portion. Is the mustard color in the circle the original color? Thanks for your comment, Ric

… Identification needed on this 1930’s Oldsmobile Wire Wheel Hubcap,
Ric Dean replied to Ric Dean's topic in What is it?
… Thanks guys for the replies; sorry I'm having problems replying and editing my posts. Fleek, I did a paste-up to better isolate the Olds Emblem renderings you posed here and then added a photo of my Hubcap center all to better compare them all. The 1930 Radiator, Emblem matches but I don’t know if that translate to what Olds used for their Hubcap center? Isn’t it unbelievable how often they retooled their Emblems; I guess the management wanted to keep their Tool & Die Makers busy. Thanks again, Ric -
… I prettied it up a bit with a red center and did a close up from the photo submitted by Professor 'Keiser32'; take a look-see, and yes it looks like a winner. Thanks Guys for your help, back up on the wall it goes, Ric

The search function for that site seams limited or it’s just my computer. Thank you for your time, Ric -
