  4. Dear Friends Several of you have asked if I would sell my 1904 Brennan four cylinder 20 HP engine SEPARATE from the rest of the project. I have decided to say yes,as I know several of you only want the motor for your own race car or speedster project. The full project is also still for sale also as of this date.Plus it is a correct replacement engine historically for any 1902-05 car. The engine is serial number 1-1904! Removed from the Brennan factory by the shop forman at the companys closure,in the 1950s. Still has paper tags on the timer! There is soot on the plugs,so it has appeared to have been run. We found an article recently of the 1905 N.Y. Auto Show, held on Jan. 15th 1905. Thus anything shown there would have to have been constructed before 1-1-05. The article said Brennan displayed several verticle motors and frames. Perhaps this is one of those display motors, due to its serial number. It is 4 inch bore and 4 inch stroke,or about 20 HP. "4x4x4" cast into the oil pan. Aircooled 4 cycle engine. Brennan sold motors for the customers individual application, including cars, boats, power plants, etc. This motor is also historically correct to power an airplane, especially because its air cooled, one year after the Wright Brothers flew the first plane! Price is $14,800 firm for the engine only. Sorry no trades. Can deliver to Hershey or ship in USA or overseas. 6. Dear Friends. I have had this set of 4 super rare Midgley wood wheels and rims, off of a 1905 Cadillac for around a decade. Sorry no hubs. These are impossible to find, especially in super nice usable condition like these. They are for sale with my 1904 Brennan project, but have decided to also offer them separately as well. They are correct for any 1900-05 car,and the 30 x 3 wheels and taller tires give a vehicle a much larger presence over a car with 28 x 3 wheels. Your hubs need to fit spokes that are 1 1/4 inches wide, and the hub facings that bolt to the front and back of the wood wheels need to be around 6 1/2 to 6 3/4 inches across. As I remember I bought these wheels from HCCA President Don Poffenroth. He toured them on his 1905 Cadillac, and said there are only 300 miles on the set of tires.Always been aired up,and in dry storage. He replaced these with rims to run single tube gray tires he had specially made for his car. Several early Cadillac people have recently informed me these wheels/rims are worth $1,000 each. The price for all 4 wheels and tires is $3,800 firm. Sorry no trades. Will deliver to Hershey for free. George Albright,Ocala,Fla. email; gnalbright@gmail.com cell 352 843 1624

They are correct for any 1900-05 car,and the 30 x 3 wheels and taller tires give a vehicle a much larger presence over a car with 28 x 3 wheels. They would be great on a 1903-05 Ford also. Your hubs need to fit spokes that are 1 1/4 inches wide, and the hub facings that bolt to the front and back of the wood wheels need to be around 6 1/2 to 6 3/4 inches across.
