Nice Job! You changed the color. Is the color touquet beige? My Roadmaster is in for an engine rebuild. Hope to be on the road in the spring. -
I am in the process of a complete rebuild on my cars engine. The current odometer reading is 83K. Not even sure if that is accurate anyway. Should I or should I not reset the odometer to zero based on the fact that for practical purposes, I will be putting a new engine in the car. Not sure what I should do. If I were to sell the car, I would certainly disclose that fact. I know there will be a lot of opinions, but what is best practices? Thanks

I found this at Hershey this year. I know the valve is a control valve for a 41 Buick vacuum antenna. The bracket that it was paired with I am not sure. There are no markings on the bracket or numbers on the piece. My guess is it may be a bracket for another control valve from another GM car that may mount on the underside of the dash. Thanks

Thanks Spineyhill and Rick60. Yes the material is rather stiff as well as plentiful. I have fought with it quite a bit, and can only get it so close. I thought maybe the irons are the issue, but maybe it is the material.

I agree with Don. Since my 41 248 is not rebuilt I use non-detergent 30W. If it were rebuilt, I would use something more modern. I have owned and driven the car without issues for 10 years.

According to the dealer I purchased the polarity insensitive bulb so it wouldn't be a polarity issue.

I have attempted to use 6 volt LED lights in my parking/brake lights, but they do not light. I have purchased LED's from two different vendors. Neither will light with my parking lights on. Any suggestions? The vendors have said they should work. Does it have anything to do with the grounding in my car? Not sure if I have a positive or negative ground. My regular bulbs work fine. I am waiting for the turn signal lights, but expect the same. Any ideas??? Thank you.

I would like to bring my 41 Buick to the AACA Fall Meet. I do not have a car carrier nor know anyone in the area with one. Does anyone know of someone who would be willing to bring a car to Hershey and back, or a local company that could do the same? Thanks

Saturday was the field day. There were over 40 Pierce Arrow cars here, not to mention a motor bike as well.

The PAS is meeting in Warwick RI. There were approximately 35 cars this morning. 27 went off to tour Newport, RI. When was the last time you saw so many Pierce Arrows in one place? In a good year you probably see four in Hershey. Enjoy these beautiful cars.

For those who do not know. The Pierce Arrow Society is having their annual meet in Warwick, RI this week. Hope to see them driving on RI roads.

I have grommets to put on my brake and clutch pedal. The problem I have is that they will not fit over the pedals. I will have to cut them and put them back together. What kind of adhesive could I use? Thanks

Has anyone had luck with a 6v LED light install for their parking/brake lights? I have purchased halogens, but they run too hot and tend to burn out quickly. I recently purchased a 6v LED for the parking/brake lights. My turn signal light is separate. I installed the bulbs and they do not work. They have the same 2 pole and connector look as the 1154's. Thanks
