1. I wonder if anyone had a picture or knew about the radiator emblem of Fargo Clipper or Packet? Is it different than in bigger trucks with "Express"? Just curious...
2. I'm looking for a front bumber emblem for a 1970 Buick Estate Wagon -- both the bezel surround and the tri-shield emblem insert. Any leads to finding this part would be very much appreciated. Thanks. Brent
3. I have a 1948 Chrysler Windsor Sedan. I recently purchased a center brake light housing that had been re-chromed. It is better than mine, but I was wondering about the grooves in the center of the housing that run the length of the car. Are these supposed to be black? If so, what kind of paint would I use and how does one paint on chrome? The hood, trunk, and side emblems also have paint on chrome, though it is an orange-red. Does anyone know the proper paint color for this red?
4. Hey folks, I found an old rusted up bumper in the dirt on my property probably from the logging days here. I've done a lot of research scouring the web for the same emblem on the bumper, to no avail. I'm hoping with some of your experience, you can help me determine what it is. The curiosity is killing me. Thank you!
5. I am looking for a radiator badge that goes to a 1924 special six. I have been told it would have a blue colored background behind the wheel. My radiator cover only came with the cup piece that the emblem had been attached to. I am having the radiator cover re-plated and am looking for the emblem to finish it off. Thanks, John
6. Hello, I am new to this forum. I have just acquired a 1957 Buick Century 4dr hardtop, and it is an amazing car. It was restored in 1990, and is in excellent shape. I have had to do only minor work on it (water pump "thanks Russ!!", torque ball leak, brakes, speedo, belts, etc.) What I am having issues with is the trunk emblem. The four knobs on the back of the emblem that hold it onto the trunk lid are broken off. I have contacted a couple of local body shops, and they say that they cannot weld those "knobs" back on. So I am either looking to buy a "new/used" one or ideas on how to attach it to the trunk lid. I have attached a photo of the emblem in question. Thanks! Jason
7. Finally picked up my first GS weekend before last and trying to get it all straightened out. My dad and I have been working on "refreshing" on an original 57k mile car. Original owner parked partially protected, but outside when brakes went out, it has a cracked or severely warped front drum. All numbers matching we had to replace the carpets and repaint. It's an original ZZ Silver Cloud, but my dad picked the color and decided on a darker silver - grey and added a painted black top. He painted it himself in the driveway, but it's a really good 10 foot job. Has a few spots of cancer in rear wheel well edges and trunk lip but overall a really straight car. Not many options on the car, but it does have power windows, so I have that going for me. A/C? Who needs A/C in a dual quad big block? So far, new plugs, wires, fuel pump, filter, restored original fuel tank from my parts car with a new sender. Original interior is in pretty solid usable condition however it's originally a standard interior car and at some point, someone swapped out an original deluxe set of front and rear seats. It runs and drives....misses a little bit when in park and revving, but when it goes into D or R, it really starts missing, and from the tailpipes, it sounds like the miss is coming from the drivers side. When driving, at low RPM, it will drive pretty well, but if you give moderate acceleration, the motor really shakes for a second before slowly starting to accelerate. Trying to get it ready for a trip to Colorado Springs for the ROA meet. One side question - I ordered a rear Riviera script for my trunklid and it didn't come with clips. I have the screw on type for the round post emblems that go on the fenders, but the rear emblem has flat posts. I didn't see any on OPGI although I couldn't really tell from the pictures. Does anyone have a source for these? Someone I'm related to seems to have misplaced the originals along with the original rear emblem. Here's an album of how we got the car and then the exterior after paint. 1965 Gran Sport rescue Options: Remote Mirror Tinted Front Glass Only Power Windows Door Edge guards (not currently on the car) Retractable Seatbelts

16. what we have here is a great find. its from what i can tell off a 1943 to 1948 buick hood. it really is in great shape as far as a 64 year old hood that has never been touched goes. the only rust is on the corners closets to the windshield, but that is it and very minimal. this is a great buy for the right guy. the only part thats missing it the main emblem. please feel free to call me if you are serious (not to just ask question) (541)974-4057 ask for Alex or email westfootball55@aol.com asking $500 or best offer (open to any offer but dont try to low ball me) For some reason I cant get pictures to post right now but i will try again soon.
