  1. I think 41 Chevy is correct
  2. Try www.coachbuilt.com as a atarting place. They do have some historical info on Henney. Almost at the bottom of page under professional car builders.
  3. Hi, pictures would be very helpful, along with as much info as you can supply, such as mileage, condition of body such as rust or dents, paint, interior condition, running condition, tires, equipment. And location, There may be someone close enough to come look at it. You may want to look on e bay to see if anything comparable is selling to give you an idea. The mid 60's Cads were great cars in my opinion. I had a 67 Cad that was one of my most-liked cars. Good luck.

    Plymouth Cricket

You may like the following site which details the history of the Hillman Avenger / Plymouth Cricket. It was also marketed under other badges including VW. Interesting reading. http://www.colin99.co.uk/avenger.html
  5. Seems to be to me also, but never know what he would actually take for it. Mostly retired people in that area and some of them are taking big hits on income right now. Seems to be a lot of toys for sale in the area.
  6. I spotted it on craigslist. Says it is super low milage with all records. In central Fla. I do not have any personal knowledge of the car. http://ocala.craigslist.org/cto/1118807611.html
  7. I do not really think this is the answer, but there are some simularities to the 49 - 51 Nash Ambassidors. Mainly the large rounded fenders. Would be helpful to see a side and rear view.
  8. Packard and the USSR are linked in several ways. A look at Packard history shows many examples or their technology being used in Russia, including several indications that their assembly line tooling found its way over there. I am not sure of the accuracy of the stories, but the looks of the soviet cars seems to bare out there may well be some truth to it.
  9. Wow............. Don't know what else to say. Where did you see it?
  10. Glad you liked it. They are interesting automobiles for sure. Hope your wish to ride in one comes true.
  11. Roberts museum has a lot of pictures of a Doble. Go to www.flickr.com/photos/robertsmuseum and look for the link on the right side of the page.
  12. Hello and welcome! Are you talking Chevy or Plymouth? If Chevy, you may need to post this in the Chevy forum above. If Plymouth, you are in the right place and I do hope someone will have the answer you need.
  13. It is an International from about the mid ninetys. It has a Ward body. The give away to the body's ID is the slanted curve on the bottom of the windshield. I do not know of another manufacturer that curved the glass. Everyone else used a rectangle shaped windshield glass as far as I know.
  14. I think early 50's Lincoln may be right. I seem to remember the merc's horn ring was just half circle, while the Lincoln was a complete circle.
  15. This question has been posted several times lately. It seems it has been answered earlier by a few people. I, for one posted a link on an earlier thread to pictures of Europian cars with this speedometer still in the car and a historical artical about import Chryslers. If you did not see it, please go back to the earlier threads. Very interesting reading.
  16. Please look at the pictures in the link on the above mentioned thread that I sent you earlier (fleek). The link is almost at the end of the thread. There are two good photos of your speedometer in european cars in that link. Should help with your search.
  17. Now, am I under the weight limit?
  18. 2 used on e bay motors, buy it now, 29.95 and 54.95. Type in "77 impala station wagon tail light". Shows to fit 77 -79 Impalas.

    Ford clock

Glad drwatson found the correct year and make. Being for a 42 does make it more rare. Nice find.

    Ford clock

Try the dash pics at www.carnut.com/photo/list/merc/merc46.html for a look at the 46 merc dash. There are some slight diferences, but very close. May be yours is a 47 or 48. Be sure to look for the dash photos in the left column. I could be wrong about when the wind up clocks were fazed out.
  21. I ran one of these in a pest control business years ago. Good dependable machine. I still like the body style and interior. To me it and the 67 were the best looking of all rancheros. I also had a 64 that was good but I did not like the look of the 64 very well. Congrats on a great find.

    Ford clock

It resembles a mid 40's Mercury clock. Some had color coded faces ( where the white around the numbers is would be painted the color of the dash), but I thought they were electric by that time.
  23. Beautiful car. I had a gold Eldorado, without t tops of course, a few years ago. It was a great road machine. I have always liked Cads.
