Some clarification on my comment about"being 1965".I was thinking about when the mustang first came out(it was probably in 1964)I was just 1 then hehe.I did see the videos and hear the stories of how the public showed up at the new car lots so as to catch a peek of the new models.

This wouldn't be happening if GM had done with their other cars like they did with the new camaro. If you have seen the pictures of people gathered around this camaro when parked in public(i've seen a few myself)it's like 1965 all over again. The same is true for the challenger. In a sea of blandness they just stand out.Even the chevy volt when the prototype was shown people wanted one. Then came the engineers and made it an egg..arrgh.
6. the car is govt/bean counters in GM..we and our passion for exciting new cars and the history of our old ones(RIP Pontiac/Olds)are on the ground

9. It's interesting to note that GM is shopping the Hummer line to sell it.Would be funny to see a tree hugger company buy the hummer line and have their top executives drive them, hehe.
10. My Garage has 4 American vehicles in it,one of which i bought new in 2002.I am about to buy another new vehicle very soon and it will be from one of the big (hurting)three.Need something like a muscle car(v-6).I like the styling of those cars..different than the jelly bean cars.

14. Heard a really funny song/story by Jeff Foxworthy about mooning with his friends in a car.Just curious, what have you done in car, let's say that was not "appropiate"?Personally,I've used my car in high school to go to a teacher's house and "rolled" her house. The next day got a call, from the teacher, which we then helped get the toliet paper out of the trees.....then the teacher served us some ice cream.
15. Just watched a CBS reports about how in Europe, cars that are 9 years or older are turned in for cash. The reporter said it might be a way to increase new car sales. How about producing a vehicle that the public wants. From what I have read the Chrysler corporation does not want to build too many challengers so to save the value of the car.hmm.The car with proper financing sells great.Product drives sales.
16. Batman reduced to fighting the criminals who try to get away with not paying the parking meter.
17. the passenger slammed on their "brakes" and this is what happened. let's say a really cheap person wanted to restore half of the car.Calls the parts store."you heard me right,I need half of a dash and a half carburator" a rat rod project
18. resale lobster red For Sale 2002 Beetle red, options:PS,PB,PW and a cute lobster dangling from the roof. I think Ralph Nader would have something to say about the design.
19. there is one of those at the lane motor museum here in nashville,tn.I've actually seen it driven on the interstate 440.Would be funny to see one on the speed channel's "pinks" show.
