1956 International pick up with a Ford 6 cyl inline engine

I am about to purchase the international as my first project. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF ANYBODY CAN GIVE ME AN APPROXIMATE PRICE ON THIS VEHICLE.?THE GENTLEMAN SELLING ME THE PICK UP SAYS THAT ITS A LIMITED EDITION AND ONLY 50 WERE MADE. I WANT TO MAKE SURE I AM GETTING A FAIR DEAL. I APPRECIATE ALL THE HELP I CAN GET!!!

This is a photo of a 56' International truck I copied from the internet to show you that the truck you are trying to buy is not a 56'.  That one looks more like a 58' cab. I am not sure about the bed as it is obvious the two came from different trucks.

In 1957, International offered a Golden Jubilee model to commemorate their 50th anniversary. The bed on the truck above appears to be from this model. One web site stated that less than 500 were produced. This is likely what the current owner is referring to.

Whether it was 50 or 500 , two of those three trucks are NOT one of the 50 or 500.

 

$400 is about right . If it is drivable.

Mines a 1957, not a golden jubilee, complete, non-running then, and 4x4. The 4x4 probably makes it worth less to most other people, I gave $450 for it a year ago and didn't even try to haggle.

The bed should be worth $500, the rest of the truck - not much.
