Centurion
I thought I would pass along some photos received this morning by the fellow (Bill Sprouse) who is tracking registrations for the upcoming Buick Nationals near Seattle. A fellow from Poulsbo (historic Scandinavian community on the west side of Puget Sound) will be driving to the Nationals in a car he has spent the last seven years building.Re-creating the style of the 1920's track racers, this car utilizes a 1929 Buick chassis and is powered by a supercharged Buick 263 straight-8 engine. I'm looking forward to seeing and hearing this one.

jscheib
What do you mean "keep up"? This is more like "bye-bye". I hope Pete gets a chance to write that one up for thoise of us who will not make the National Meet.John
Gene Brink
Cool, Brian. See that it apparently has updated brakes (still drums) which should make it a lot easier to drive with confidence. Thanks for posting! <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
The Old Guy
It is interesting to note that it appears to be a Buick supercharger also. The Ultras have a unit that looks like the one on this spectacular vehicle.
