Bhigdog
There is an E-mail sitting unopened in my inbox. It is from " Laura Curley, AACA Spring 2006." There is also an attachment. The AACA reference has my curiosity piqued but I'm afraid to open it. Does the name ring a bell with anyone, or is this just a clever SPAM or worse? Peter J.Heizmann
Hi, Bob...Does not rin a bell with me.I "never" open anything questionable. My advice is to delete it, and/or, report it as spam to your carrier.Peter J... <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
Bhigdog
If someone knows her name as being legit I'd open it, but it looks like I'll just delete it. I have Norton Anti virus but I still don't want to take a chance. Thanks........Bob
Steve Moskowitz
Laura Curley is the name of a member in CT. I cannot vouch for anything beyond that.
R W Burgess
Thanks Steve.Bigdog, most virus scanners will show if the attachment is corruptive, alerting you not to open it. Take care,Wayne
Bhigdog
Thanks so much, Steve. It was a legit EMail from a couple I met at the Virginia Beach Show commenting on my 55 Buick making the latest cover of Hemmings Classic Car. I would have been unknowingly rude if I didn't respond to their kind remarks.......Bob.
Steve Moskowitz
Bob, congratulations on making the cover but especially your concern for making the reply. Very classy.
