Buicks Rule
Could be a Special Riviera Wagon instead of a Caballero--3 holes not four.
West Peterson
The main thing that's wrong is that it's not sitting in my driveway.
Guest Reatta1
Isn't it also supposed to have chrome body moldings on the bottom of the doors and fender?

The Old Guy
The wire wheels were not an option on any 57 Buick. There were many that ran them, but they are not a legal option, and you will be gigged for them at a BCA meet
Guest my3buicks
that roof rack with the little red bullets at the end is not the correct one either.
Aanderson44
What you see as a B-post really isn't. Buick, like everyone else back then, framed hardtop window glass in a chrome surround, which rolled up and down with the glass.Art

Guest JT
Art, I wondered whether it was a chrome frame or a "fake" b pillar so I guessed the b post.
The Old Guy
Skyking, I owned a 57 Caballero some time ago, and I agree with you. I do not have my cars judged, and it also had the skylark wires. They really make the car!
R W Burgess
OK Peter, it's time for another car contest. Make the next a little harder, can you? <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />Wayne
Guest Skyking
Joe, I had them on my 55 Special, a no, no in the BCA's eyes, but they made the car stand out amongst the others.......I still believe they were a dealer option until 1960, meaning if you bought a new Buick and asked for them, the dealer would install them. They weren't going to lose that option money. So I do think it's a good argument at a judged meet.
