A guy in one of these big dumpers backed up not seeing the sweeper and right into it causing about $100,000 damage to a $350,000 sweeper. Our guy was parked near a shop at the rock quarry (did I mention Parked) when the guy in the dump ran it over. Guest Posted September 19, 2003 Share Posted September 19, 2003 I used to do electrical work in a rock quarry (contracting-I was not employed by the quarry). At their shop message board they had printouts from the mining board called FATALGRAMS. I was amazed by how many crazy ways accidental injury and deaths would occur in the quarries. That occupation is quite up there on the hazardous list for a career! The picture reminded me of those hazards that I would see in those FATALGRAMS-sometimes it seemed they came from Ripley's Believe It or Not.
