One of 3,356 Lincoln Continental Convertibles built in 1965. This is the Fourth Generation Lincoln Continental from 1961-1969. With suicide doors, and the only engine available was the 430 cu in (7.0 L) MEL V8 with Kelsey-Hayes disc brakes in the front and drum brakes in the back.
My 1965 Lincoln Continental, Oxford White (newly painted) White convertible top (new) with red interior (new).

Despite their low production numbers,

it's amazing to me how common Lincoln

convertibles are today in the collector

market.  Every day of every year, probably

several dozen are for sale.  Be patient and

choose your favorite color!

 

I think that half the $90,000 asking price is

closer to the going rate.

I had one in the seventies for 300 $.It drove , ran, etc .Was used as a car to drive you to church to get married .I kept it some years and sold it later for about 3-4000 $.Still regret I sold it .
