In. V8 engine with 3-speed Automatic Transmission. Power Steering & Brakes, Power windows and Seat. Rare factory Air Conditioning (works). Very solid Maryland car that is virtually rust free. Paint shows age as it was restored in the 80's but still very presentable. Engine was rebuilt in March 2023 (have all receipts!) and has less than 700 miles on rebuild. Starts right up and runs fine. Many new parts including Carburetor, Generator, Starter, Battery (1 1/2 years old), Classic wide white wall radial tires. New Distributer, New Fuel Tank. Upgraded to power front disc brakes. Upgraded Air Conditioning with new modern compressor and modern A/C coolant. Upgraded to electric wipers. Upgraded and rebuilt power steering unit. Removed, flushed and boiled out radiator and heater cores (2). Interior is in excellent condition as well. Trunk is solid with no holes or rust, but original trunk mat shows wear and age. Passenger side window has a crack, but I have full side (flat) glass replacement set for this car (included). Original speedometer is not working (but odometer does work) and it has a dash mounted GPS digital speedometer that plugs into the lighter socket to show accurate speed. Chrome and stainless trim are in very good condition for age. Not a show car but a very presentable rare and desirable classic driver or great candidate for serious restoration! 69merc Posted August 19 Share Posted August 19 This is my favorite 50s Lincoln! The black and white are great colors for this car. The trunk is a little grungy and the dash a bit wrinkly, but otherwise what a spectacular car! The price seems very fair, I don't think I could let it go that cheap.
