joe_padavano
My wife and I have been in France for the last couple of weeks. There was a small car show in the next town over (Goudargues) on Thursday, which was a holiday. Here are a few photos. This Panhard was pretty cool. joe_padavano
The obligatory 2CVs and Citroen DS and Model H van. Interestingly, I caught a glimpse of a newer minivan with corrugated sides that I assumed was retro styling to emulate the Model H. This Panhard Dyna was pretty cool, as was the Renault 17. joe_padavano
There were a number of these Peugeot 203s, in just about every available body style. Edited May 13 by joe_padavano (see edit history)
joe_padavano
I think my favorites were the Peugeot 304 and 404 convertibles. The 404 looked especially nice, but then I saw the Pininfarina emblem on the rear quarter. They were built in Italy between 1961 and 68. The one at the show was a 1965.
joe_padavano
The VW contingent turned out. There were antique tractors as well. This articulated 4WD tractor was pretty cool. As we were leaving the show, this early Renault Alpine was driving down the street.
Jeff Perkins / Mn
Thanks for posting! Always interesting to see pics of car shows from other parts of the world. I especially like the very old Renaults.

8E45E
Thanks for the photos. I love seeing vintage cars that were either never sold here new, or the so few that were, no one ever bothered restoring one. Craig

It would have had the 5-mph bumpers that ruined the look of many import cars at that time. Craig

prewarnut
You may not know the answer but on the Panhard how do the wipers function? I suppose they could come together and hopefully not slap each other in the middle...or perhaps one sweeps and then the other in alternation? Or maybe they run in unison with the driver's side starting first and running until the last to get/return out of phase?

I didn't even notice that.

It’s pretty wacky…
