Gearheadengineer
1905 Cadillac Runabout, original 9hp motor. The car was being restored when the gentleman passed away is the story I got. The hood was sandblasted down to bare metal as seen in the photos. Still needs someone who is willing to put a little time into it to make it a running car. I recently had new rear leaf springs fabricated by a well know spring company who's been in business since the 1800's. Springs are on and the car is sitting like it was meant to be. I'm asking $25k and will deliver free locally. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1356454675060547

Steve_Mack_CT
Not familiar with values but since this is in Dick Shappy's back yard I assume he would have scooped it up already if it was a really good deal since he has a large collection of early Cadillacs among other stuff. Gearheadengineer
26 minutes ago, Walt G said: Please elaborate a bit more about what is the Fleetwood connection? It’s a Facebook marketplace ad. Facebook gives limited options for makes and models in the ad title. The options are not designed around 1905 Cadillacs. Or Hupmobiles. Or… Advertisers are forced to choose something. I copy the ad titles and text as written by the advertiser. 2
wayne sheldon
Certainly, they could have left it simply as "Cadillac"? Or maybe not? Calling it "Fleetwood" just irks me. The comment reeks of cluelessness. (The question becomes, "who is clueless"? The seller. the website, or the programmer?) I don't know about 1905? But I am fairly sure Wilson Body Company built most of Cadillac's bodies for 1903 and 1904. Wilson Body Company was one of the largest suppliers of automobile bodies before 1910. cxgvd
Seems like a pretty good deal on a decent car. A fellow could begin touring with the one cylinder bunch this summer and continue to restore the Cadillac as you like on the go. The owner says he is reasonable. Make an appointment to see the car and buy it. Life is good at 20 MPH. Gary
