Terry Y
What a dynamite looking car ! It needs some potentially expensive re-commissioning (waking up) but WOW The downside is NEVER call on an un-priced car, the seller always wants a multiple of what the car might really sell for
cjmarzoli
Nicest looking year for Buick in the 30's! Looks like a nice example of Buick's entry level 1933 model.
Crusty Trucker
Seller: Get it out of the garage and take some decent pictures.
Fossil
1 hour ago, Crusty Trucker said: Seller: Get it out of the garage and take some decent pictures. If he has a sloped driveway and is getting on in age that might not be real easy with a dead engine. Not everyone lives in an area where the neighbors or family are willing to help at the drop of a pin. I agree though better photos would help.
Leif in Calif
New ad...now has "Selling as is, or can repair at additional cost. Starting asking price is $35k, but open to counter-offers." In other words...seller is delusional. There are more and better pictures (more in ad) ...Looks nice! https://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/cto/d/healdsburg-1933-buick-model-57-sedan/7752177915.html email: f1de35b90e80313a8ed5635c82b06a72@sale.craigslist.org
cjmarzoli
MIGHT be worth half of the asking price if it had NO engine issues.
Fossil
Doggone it I wish he could have come up with a different color for those wheels. Otherwise that's a nice car.
Leif in Calif
4 months later and no takers...no wonder when they state "Starting asking price is $35k, but open to counter-offers". You do have to wonder where they got the idea that was a correct price for a non-runner! https://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/cto/d/healdsburg-1933-buick-model-57-sedan/7770584742.html email: 4cbd95eb9654340e8e8ceced6c11bc18@sale.craigslist.org
suchan
My copy of Old Cars Price Guide says this car should be worth $35K in #1 condition. Not sure where a cosmetically OK car that doesn't currently run, and may need significant work, rates on a 6-point scale.

Unfortunately they don’t have a category for this car.
