57Classic
Hello everyone. I recall asking this question in the past, but is anybody aware of a source for engine mounts for a 1934 Chrysler Airflow CU? I remember Then & Now Automotive, but I would like to familiarize myself with companies that are capable of doing such work. Thanks!

57Classic
Yes. I don't know why these photos aren't aligned correctly. This first photo is upside down, but this is where the transmission mounts to a crossmember. This second photo is tipped to the right. But, just below the water pump pulley, there is a rubber mount there. I believe it is vulcanized to a small frame which is then bolted to a larger frame that holds the front of the engine up. I am pretty certain that there is at least one more, what with "floating power." I will have to check later. JFranklin
Some shops can rebuild mounts with new rubber. Someone will know.

I think Taylormade on this forum had some rubber vulcanized onto steel. Do a search for him.
57Classic
Thanks! I’ll look into it. The fan in the second photo was revulcanized by a company in California. I’m not sure if they usually handle engine mounts though.
ply33
Antique Auto Parts Cellar (a.k.a Then and Now Automotive) offers engine mount revulcanizing. Or at least the used to.
