joespoolhall
Hello, I am looking for a set of dual points for a 1935 Oldsmobile L35, 8 cylinder. It has a Delco Remy distributor. If you have a set for sale or know of where to find a set, please let me know. Here is a picture of the points in the distributor, Thanks, Joe
edinmass
Be aware that many modern reproduction points are a one size fits all and NOT a good option. Do yourself a favor, and buy NOS correct units. While the others will install, the dwell and gap can be affected making it almost impossible to set them up correctly without a Sun distributor tester. I will be happy to toss yours in my machine if you like. No charge. To members of the AACA, CCCA, or other national club. If you would like this help, PM me and I will explain it in more detail. I have done a dozen this year for folks from here .............just helping out early car guys.......Best, Ed

GARY F
Joespoolhall, Are these stock to the L-35 from the factory? I have a L-37 and they are single points.
joespoolhall
Hi Gary, Yes the dual points are stock to the L35 - 8 cylinder from the factory. The F35-6 cylinder engines had the single points. Cheers, Joe
Old buicks 2
Gary, the L37 is a single point distributor from 1937 🙂
pont35cpe
Say Joe, is there a condenser and vac advance on your distributor? Or just not in the picture. Tom
joespoolhall
Hi Tom, there is a condenser but it is mounted outside of the distributor housing on the bracket that holds the coil . . . . . and there isn't a vacuum advance, Cheers, Joe
