Steve_Mack_CT
Friend's dad had one of these in mid 70s. The doors are like a foot thick. It was very cool and interesting to see sitting next to his dad's then new Mark IV Lincoln.
theconvertibleguy
Hot Rod Lincoln just popped in my head. I'm sure that's just a coincidence.
alsancle
Looking at the pictures on my computer instead of my phone I can see it is a little beat up. These are one of the most expensive 1950s cars there is to work on. You are better off buying a much nicer one for more money if that is what it takes. On the plus side, I like the black instead of a lot of the pastels you seem to see on these.
John_S_in_Penna
Specialty cars often are cherished, preserved, and restored. That has made the Mark II BY FAR the most common Lincoln of the 1956-57 year range. Despite very low production numbers, there are more than a dozen for sale on any day, any month, every year. And as we all know, they were "Continentals," not actually Lincolns, as Ford Motor Co. tried and failed to establish a new brand.
deac
These and the K series from the 30's are my favorite Lincolns. If Edsel Ford saw these Continentals he would probably okay with them. However he would roll over in his grave with what followed these in later in the fifties. I don't think I would ever own a K series or these Continentals because they are just too much money to fix and not fun to work on.. These Continentals are very solid and stately
