James Brown 138
I just bought a set of 67 Riviera stock wheels yet I am having a tough time on getting the correct center caps. I bought one of E-Bay yet it does fit in the center hole of the rim, it is too loose. S I am trying to figure out if there are different sizes? Any suggestion would be much appreciated. Thank you James
Jim Skelly
There are 2" and 2 1/8" diameter holes in the center of the wheel. I bought an emblem and retainer for a cap I found in the 1970s and it was a perfect fit and match for the originals. f.f.jones
Check out OldBuickParts.com in New Jersey. I bought a set of replacement cap retainer clips there. I think they carry the complete cap assemblies, too.

RivNut
Those vendors probably get them from this source: www.buickcenters.com. Your car should have code #853 or #802 wheels. #853 came out when the disk brake option came out. Measure the center hole, then let Buick centers know whether you need 2” or 2-1/8” clips. Both size clips fit the same cap. Edited September 20, 2023 by RivNut (see edit history)

Cars at oldbuickparts.com is the source for those that are marketing the reproduction caps. Tom Mooney
NC1968Riviera
buickcenters.com is the place to get the center caps you need. All others are selling his caps for a markup.
