Michelin came out with Radial back in 1948, as I recall-

And they didn't need to have an "R" in the sidewall size description, either.

Im interested in these, exact size I need but unfortunately they’re in PA. If I’m ever up that way I’ll definitely grab these but I don’t think that’ll be any time soon.

Depends what you are going to do with them.   If they happen to be original equipment on  your preservation car they might be considered gold.
