1919 Dodge touring $20,000/not mine

Recommended Posts

Twenty thousand dollars and "taking offers?"

That implies that there will be many suitors,

all bidding on the car.  At his asking price, he

should be very happy if a single person even calls.

Looks like it's worth about $7500 bucks to me... On a good day. A lot of these out there.

You may be right, Mr. Stutz.  Before I saw your comment,

I was estimating $8000.  Maybe only $5000 is the top.

I know there is an active club in Northern California, so if the price is right there will be some interest.

I don't know where people come up with these silly prices! There's currently a Model T coupe, nice but nothing special, restored sometime years ago, offered on CL for $35,000. The only way it could be worth that much is if it was previously owned by Steve McQueen or Elvis!

I usually don't comment about people's prices much. But criminy! Only about four times what it is worth?

I know a bunch of people around Hayward area, my old stomping grounds! Thankfully, I do not recognize the car or the guy. (Hopefully I don't get any nasty calls about my comments?)
