Steering wheels

Top one is a highly desirable (esp with its factory box) optional Chevrolet passenger car wheel, guessing 1946-52 timeframe. The Chevrolet guys will know for sure by the part number on the box.

Bottom is a Chevrolet truck steering wheel for roughly the same year spread.

Both gorgeous. I have no idea of current pricing on these but they're desirable to Chevrolet RESTORERS. The modified crowd could not care less about stuff like this.

Both steering wheels appear to be in excellent condition.  The first steering wheel is the 1950-52 Chevrolet deluxe (optional) steering wheel and the second one is a 1947-53 Chevrolet truck steering wheel.  A quick EBay search shows and equal quality 1950-52 Deluxe wheel for $2250, buy it now.  This is not out of line because it would cost around $1800 to recast an original steering wheel plus the cost to replate the horn ring.  The downside is that this steering wheel is being reproduced and selling for $350.  The truck steering wheel is also reproduced and selling for $270.  The cost to recast the truck steering wheel would also be around $1800.

Search EBay and other sources and you can see the range these steering wheels are selling for.

Would $3500 combined be outta line for both of these steering wheels?

The new reproduction version of this steering wheel is selling quite well at $349 on eBay.  The price includes shipping.  Something to keep in mind when pricing items.  The steering wheel is for a Chevrolet, it would be better if it was for a Cadillac or other high dollar car.  You can of course choose any price you desire just keep in mind you have $0 dollars invested in them.  They certainly are nice.

I think you will do better listing the steering wheels separately.  The person or restoration shop interested in one may not have a need for the other and will want to offer minimal dollars for the one they don't need.
